You need to use an Amazon locker. Just keep an eye out that you are not followed. They might have a P.I. on payroll to keep tabs on you. :)

This might be the bassier FD1 which might be more to some peoples liking.
We have a shared Prime account. Waiting is for my own good anyways. I received too much stuff at once.

I’m hoping that’s the case, that’s it’s perhaps tuned more like the BL03 or UF.

Curious about this...

Interesting looking case there.

Jade has a true wireless already. Maybe they should make this into the next model esp. if it is a hit.

Well, I figured I'll take a try at it. Can't lose for the price. I do like a decent dynamic...we'll see how it goes.

Oof, there's your problen right there.
I was mailing everything to my office.

Working from home has made this a challenge.

I would say only 1 out of 4 pairs goes detected, and my wife still thinks I have way to many sets.

I'd only she knew the reality..... She'd either have me institutionalized or divorce me!

Well, my pair just arrived a day early. I plugged them in and started the burn in. In the minute I put them in my ears right out of the box I was surprised at how good they sounded out of the box. Usually Beryllium sets don't sound very good to me right away.... Lots of distortion and bass isn't settled in usually. But here, Subbass was present and deep right away. Vocals sounds very nice.

Second, they require a good amount of power to get loud. I'm burning them in at 95/100 on high gain on my cayin N3. Well above what I've needed for other recent acquisitions and similar to what I needed on the 7hz i99.

Third, build, packaging and accessories are nothing special but totally acceptable for $30 or even $70. The cable is going to be used to burn these in on my old DAP and then tossed into my pile of 3.5mm cables that I hoard for no reason. I like Jades style in this regard because it's not like I use the accessories I get on TOTL sets much less budget sets.... But the cable is not great if you actually intend to use it.

Fourth, I don't have a fourth other than thinking this is squarely aimed at the blon bl-03 based on price and initial sound....

I agree that out of the box sounds pretty good. I'm playing on a DX160 with a 2.5 balanced Linsoul cable. Same cable I use on the BL03. These seem to extend lower bass decently. Not too much bleed over. Found on some lower quality tracks that the treble can get a little shouty. Could be that they need to settle or the tracks are just too bad. Other IEMs I have resolve these lower tracks better. Nonetheless, I am liking what I'm hearing. I'll do a more in depth comparison with the Blon soon. May toss the TFZ Queen in the mix as well. Great sound for short money...

Yep. Immediately obvious this set is easily worth $30. I've had them cooking all day now and am listening back and forth with my 7hz i99.

They sound pretty good, fit it good, isolation is good. There are a few Dead spots and I've run into congestion on some tracks. I'm going to keep letting these burn because I want to see if those issues are burn in related. So far, very impressive for $30, but not without faults thus far. Hopefully they keep improving. Right now I think they're on par with the blon but are hopefully closer to the uf ybf isso14 when burned in.

It's amazing what $30 IEMs sounds like these days, and I'm honestly happy to know how good I have it in that regard. I remember my first pair of IEMs, $100 Shure IEMs in 2004-2005 (shure e2c), I think I'd throw them directly in the trash if I heard them now. My second pair was the ety er4p, $400 then and vastly better than the shure, but really just trounced everywhere by $30 IEMs like these today.....

Have you tried putting micropore tape over the center vents, overlying the drivers? At least with the FD1, it becomes a bass head IEM that I’m starting to like more than the UF YBF. Now, I like the FD1 best with CP145, ePro horn, or Xelastec tips.

Honestly, I've not listened much while they're burning in. I'll try it when I'm done burning them in. I liked my kz star lines better than the xelastecs on them right now...

Listening to these now and for the last couple of hours at about 110 hours of burn.

These sound a lot like how people describe the FD1.

Very good for $30. Upper mids/lower treble might be a bit peaky for some. Female vocals in particular can get relatively too loud at times on higher notes.

Overall a really nice sound though. I'm definitely gonna tape the vents. Putting my finger over the inner vent immediately increases the bass weight and depth. They're reminiscent of the blon bl-03 but with better detail all around.

They're somewhere between the blon and urbanfun in overall tuning but the bass is tuned punchy, but obviously can be easily changed by covering that vent to be more reminiscent of the UF.

Going to give these a proper burn to 250 hours, but a definite no brainier Beryllium set for $30.

I just tried this this morning. It does give considerable boost to the lower freq but seems to have a little more back pressure on the eardrum. I used it for about 3 hours today with that vent closed. I liked what I heard but kept having to adjust the fit some as the pressure started getting uncomfortable. I haven't used it in a while this afternoon. I will try sitting with this evening and see what comes. I was also hiking for part of the session this morning...if that makes any difference (movement of my ear vs cable pulling vs outside conditions).
