Oh man im still thinking of going back to Mest. Just need to go through my current purchases haha. Really loved their soundstage though. Im actually suspecting that H50 is going for pretty similar tuning too. Also while different tier has excellent stage height. So with a bit more airy tuning they will have some more in common

I've found MEST a bit too technical and at times lacking coherency and overall emotive engagement - especially versus my go-to single DD, IE900. But it is incredibly impressive... it goes more for the head, IE900 the heart! Traillii hits both nicely, but you'd expect that for the $$$.

Interesting that you find ie900 coherent. Its a V shape for me too be honest. Mest for me was best all arounder tonally. Really worked with all my music from EDM to Classical. But i take it trailli does that better? Though no DD no $$ from me lol.

Anyways got carried away here a bit. Back on topic...

LoL many bought the same day. So you can see which country is the fastest for fedex from China.
Seems that UK is currently at 1st place in delivery (I saw you from uk) , soon you will hear the anthem in large sound stage of the H50.
Dont forget the interview after the anthem, I meant quick *review.

My H50’s estimated delivery is 11/9/2021 by FedEx to Budapest, Hungary, Europe. I ordered at Ali on the same day.

Penon MIDS put up a very decent, respectable fight. And it was just on a stock cable...

This is more of a tonal preference thing than technical comparison. It does not necessarily mean Legend performs at the same level as Trailli technically.

H40 for instance has nice tuning that i enjoy and i prefer it over some 2k all BA sets.
But H40 resolution leaves a lot to be desired.
For me it is a preferred trade off however at this price and for its use case.

Maybe depends on source... did you use Mest Mk2 with R8 or SP2000?

Ok. Cable match ups. You get a great matching cable that comes with the H50 the ISN S8 however as far as the cable scheme of things. It is pretty much a basic cable. If you can even call it that. Yes it is the same SPC cable that comes with the H40. It will certainly give you a good insight into how the ISN H50 will perform for you. However they sound even better with the right cable.

The golden color scheme should give you a hint into how this pairing is. gold flakes and the golden cable that is the ISN Solar. Yes folks this match up will add some lovely coloration to the stock ISN H50 sound profile. It was like planned way, a year before the H50 was ever created. This pairing is absolutely superb. And yes while the cable costs more than the H50. The end results is the end results. This pairing matches up so well. The sound quality of this match up will be worth the price of admission on these cables because they make the H50 SQ ramp up even more so to the point where. Ya these are not going to make you reach for your more expensive stuff. They sound amazing with this combo. Sounds is way more textured from bass to treble. Better definition. Adds a slight darker hue to the trebles which makes treble sound silkier. Thickens and adds body to the entire sound profile. Adds even greater impact and rumble to bass. Expands the sound profile. Love how pin point imaging becomes with this cable.

As great as the H50 is out of the box. I got news for you folks. Wait till you all discover what better cables do on them.
