Well, I used to use the DAC/Amp combo Fiio E10K and was quite satisfied with it, but since I built a new PC running Win 10 the E10K has been collecting dust at the corner of my desk. I listen to heavy metal and 'epic music' (if you aren't familiar with this term you may search for "Sun" album by Thomas Bergersen for reference) and remember that I kept the bass boost switch of E10K 'on' all the time.
So now I want to buy some new amp for my Sennheiser HD598 and consider the iFi iCAN SE because its bass boost and 3D holographic. Or how about some bundle from Schiit with same price range? Such as Magni 3 + Modi 2 Uber?
