Definitely is 6s for music.
WhatHIFI is one of the very best review sites in my opinion- according to them
the SE's SQ is noticeably below the 6S's - (understandable as the SE

LG V20 or iPhone 6S?
I just got the 6S because I bought my pops an iPhone X, that thing is gorgeous.
Try the Onkyo HF Player. Make sure you are running iOS11 and not 10 there were DAC hand shake issues with 10.I haven't used an iPhone in years and iTunes even longer. What app should I use to get music (mp3s/flac) on the iPhone locally? I despise iTunes and have a music collection spread across multiple computers and DAPs. I'll probably still have to use iTunes for file transfers but I'm not going to using it for a music database/playlist manager.

I found that the 6S RFI interfered with all the external amp/DACs that I tried. The 6S is known to have shielding issues.I am trying to figure out how to get the most out of my newly acquired iPhone 6s 128gb (still running ios 10.3). I recently picked up
beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32 Ohm and found them not to be loud enough plugged into the headphone jack. They sound better if I use my FiiO E12A Mont Blanc, but it has no DAC so I am double amping, which is not necessarily ideal.
I was thinking of upgrading to an amp/dac, like the Nano iDSD LE Portable DAC Amplifier. But I would also have to add the Apple CCK (which one?) to the mix. Moving forward, I feel that this may be the best scenario, as opposed to wondering if any future headphones will be loud enough listening directly from the iphone 6s headphone jack.
I just don't want to overlook anything, such as how updating to the latest ios may impact anything. I know Apple does not make it easy. Also, if there are any other amp/dac's that may be better in the same price range (under $130)?
I listen to primarily industrial/melodic/death metal (Godflesh, In Flames, Disarmonia Mundi, Red Harvest, Meshuggah) at the gym. m4a and Pandora Radio.
Thanks for any advice!

Actually quite good sound with Mojo; I use Kaisertone app, lightning USB Camera Adapter+ Moon Audio Silver Dragon USB cable & Audioquest Jitterbug. How is 6S+ as a source for the mojo?
Maybe check some DAC amps out for yourself in the light of Adu's post. Just make sure that you can return anything that you buy if you hit the problems I did. For example the Dragonfly Red was great with the 6S if it wasn't for the interference.Oh, well that sucks. So I guess I should stick with what I have and just double amp if I find a particular headphone to be lacking in volume then?
Does the Jitterbug solve the RFI problem with the 6S? If so that is a result! I love my Mojo with my old 5S.Actually quite good sound with Mojo; I use Kaisertone app, lightning USB Camera Adapter+ Moon Audio Silver Dragon USB cable & Audioquest Jitterbug.
