Anyone else getting the iPhone 6s?
I'm getting the rose gold one to replace my S6 Edge.

I am replacing an HTC One M8. Im nervous about sound quality after being spoiled by the M8. Any ideas about when we will know about the DAC/amp?

hang on, if it does has one to DAC and 2 to Amplify...isn't it audiophiles level ?
    there are 3 cirrus Chip
    1x Cirrus Logic 338S00105
2x Apple/Cirrus Logic 338S1285 Audio IC (likely an iteration of the 338S1202 audio codec found in the iPhone 5s)

I went to apple store on Friday to try audio out this is in UK. The output from my memory when tried iP6 it sound the same. So i've maxed out the volume and was happy nothing overpowering. so not sure why Apple decided to add so many Cirrus chips.
Also the output might be low because of EU Volume Limit? I did check the setting and the limit was Off.

Good to know. I have yet to see 3 DAC in a device :D

I personally want to see comparison between iP6S vs Note 5 vs Xperia Z5 :)

I am currently using iPhone 6S+ 128GB. Its sound quality, especially in upper bass and mids, is considerably better than iPhone 6+ - but it does not in any way affect the treble. Still some way to go for the iPhone to beat my AK240, but it is pretty impressive for a mobile phone. As far as iPhones are concerned, the best one I had in terms of sound quality was iPhone 4. Too bad I don't have it any more so I can't compare. I also have the Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge Plus, but it is no rival to iPhone 6S+ (or even iPhone 6+).

Samsung and androids are with integrated DAC, and they are known to be....not too well received. The only one that stood out alright was Xperia Z3....but output is nothing compare to iPhones....now the iPhone 6s with 3DAC....insane. How does it compare to AK jr ? Because just at the level of AK jr will be worth it.

Audiophiles quality and smartphone together that can stream stuff too :D

Oh and don't mention Samsung Exynos....they are a joke of a joke

My first impression is my 6s plus has much better imaging vs my 6 plus using my Shure 846.

Oh common....you gotta be more than that. Did you try HD streaming ? And or ALC files ? How does it sound ? Especially the trebles, is the tonality well received with good extensions ? Common....I want more :D thanks

The previous IPhones and IPad don't do too bad, but that was 1 DAC....now with 3X DAC? It better be at the least 2X as good

I was using a Tidal hifi stream - I don't trust my ears enough to speak to specific frequencies but I will say it sounded more airy and separation was much better if that makes sense?

i have tried galaxy note 4 with exynos chipset and neutron music player with my mdr-1rbt and bose soundtrue, the SQ is very good.  I have also tried G3 but note 4 is slightly better. I tried xperia tx, the sound is very clean but low volume. xperia z3 and z2 are disappointing. iphone 6 for me is just a good output.
  14. Whitigir
Lol....Z3 sounds worse than note4 Exynos ? I have both, and I can tell you that it is completely another way around. Regardless of neutron, enhancements app you play with. I am talking about pure stock specs and stock player. I am not a fan of color, and neither a fan of any Bose or beats
