Full sized cans or iems. It's fine. I just bought one anyway...so I'll test it myself...Oh you mean how the analog/mini jack output sounds…I will see what I can do about testing this. I have not tried it since I have only ever used digital out on this dock (external DAC), not analog out (built in DAC).
I can compare it to the following devices I have on hand:
HiBy R6 Pro II(‘s integrated DAC)
Hidizs S9 Pro
Hidizs S9 Pro Plus Martha
Cayin RU6
Cayin RU7
What do you want me to test with, IEMs, or full size headphones/cans?

Hello, friend...Hi,
Like you, I use Hiby R6II with the xDuoo DT-01 and I am very satisfied with it.
I wanted to know if you changed the settings of the R6II with the DT-01.
As far as I am concerned, the profile of my R6II has not changed, Plugin Dynamics and MSB System Uktra Hifi or Analog.
For the USB and Coax outputs it is difficult to judge, because the two cables are different: USB Atlas Element sc, Coax Melodika MDCX.
A preference perhaps for the Coax output with Melodika MDCX a rounder sound.
Otherwise, according to you, what is the best configuration in terms of tuning for Hiby R6II?
Sorry for my English!
I don't use the MSEB as I have always applied my own parametric EQ curves depending on what my listening device is (Thieaudio Hype 4, Monolith M1070C, Sennheiser x Drop HD 6XX, or my speaker chain which is a pairing of KEF LS50 Metas with an SVS SB-3000 subwoofer), so unfortunately, I cannot provide advice for MSEB.
I only use USB for digital audio output because I send from my R6 Pro II to a separate DDC (Gustard U18), which only has USB input. The U18 then feeds a signal to my Musician Draco via I2S, so I also do not have experience using the coax output on DT-01, sorry.
When I am on the go, I do not use the dock, so obviously I just use USB for my dongle DACs.

Sorry if this question is inherently redundant, but would a device such as this one eliminate the need for say a dedicated streamer, such as a bluesound node or a Wiim Pro plus?

Combined with a DAP that has remote control (like say an Android-based HiBy like the R4 or R6 Pro II that has HiByCast remote control for phones and tablets), yes.Sorry if this question is inherently redundant, but would a device such as this one eliminate the need for say a dedicated streamer, such as a bluesound node or a Wiim Pro plus?

Right on, thank you for clarifying ~Combined with a DAP that has remote control (like say an Android-based HiBy like the R4 or R6 Pro II that has HiByCast remote control for phones and tablets), yes.

Hello to all! I would like to use this docking station together with a dedicated iPhone or Android phone to use them just as a streaming device from my listening position, transporting the tidal digital music signal bitperfect via USB cable directly to my DAC. Is this possible? Does it make a difference to use an iPhone or an Android Phone? Thank you for your assistance!

Yes, this works fine. I’ve done this with both types of phone on my DT-01 for testing purposes.Hello to all! Edward, is that really true? That would be wonderful! Just to be sure, let me ask again. I play Tidal or Quboz on my phone which is docked to the DT-01. The USB-out of the DT-01 sends the bitperfect original Tidal- or Quboz-stream (no up- or downsampling from my iPhone) via USB cable to the USB-in of my DAC. Bingo. This is it? No dedicated streamer needed?Yes, this works fine. I’ve done this with both types of phone on my DT-01 for testing purposes.

This is exactly how I used mine. It keeps the phone charged while connected to external DAC.Edward, is that really true? That would be wonderful! Just to be sure, let me ask again. Apologies for the daft question - but is this device able to to send/ play music files via the USB output AND charge through the same? (I didn't think it was possible, so I may have misunderstood something here). Thanks

The device is able to charge the docked phone/DAP WHILE attached to an external USB device such as a DAC or storage device (if so supported by the docked phone or DAP), yes.Apologies for the daft question - but is this device able to to send/ play music files via the USB output AND charge through the same? Sadly 1 day after 30 day return option I tried the Headphone out/Aux out. No signal. It is not a headphone/cable issue! Switch is at SPDIF/Aux according to the manual. Does anybody have an idea what is the problem? Thank you!
