As someone who has purchased from SHENZENAUDIO before I can attest that the experience was excellent. I posted multiple times for confirmation that you are an official dealer and now that it is confirmed I will not hesitate to buy from you again if I can't purchase the M1 Plus or any other Shanling products locally.

I got my M1 Plus yesterday. It feels very light and compact in my hand. The sound is in line with this price range or even better. Now I can officially use it after the included leather case is delivered.

Please share some details regarding sound quality, I still can't decide between M1 Plus and Hiby R4 or maybe get Hiby R3II. Thanks

I once owned an R3ii but sold it shortly after I bought it because its power button was too easy to touch accidentally. As for the sound, the M1 Plus is better, with a better soundstage and better sound details.

I haven't tried R4 yet, so I can't compare the difference with you, but I have R6iii. R6iii provides more sound details and better bass, but it is not easy to carry. In comparison, M1 Plus better meets my needs. , and the price of R6iii is doubled. That’s all I can say at the moment. More detailed differences can only be provided after I experience the M1 Plus in depth. By the way, my earphone is Aful Performer 8.

Early impressions indicate limited battery life. A major limitation in my book 👎

Does your excellent experience include product returns, warranty service, etc. ?

Can't comment on stuff I didn't experience, my post was about the ordering process! The order process was easy and without issue. I recieved my Q1 ahead of the scheduled delivery date and I did not have to pay any duties or custom fees on arrival. To me that equates to an excellent and flawless experience, not to mention no other dealers I have found provide a free 2 year warranty.

A little early to to make that assessment on the battery life since it was just released. Not exactly hearing stellar reviews on the R4 battery life either and that has been out a heck of alot longer. I certainly wouldn't order the R4 for its battery life and I can't think of any recent DAP's released I would buy for its battery life.

Buying is usually sweet'n'easy. Things often get nasty, when one decides to exercise consumer rights. Perhaps not in this case.

If not tested, this is just a marketing claim.

Battery seems to be the Achilles heel of most DAPs.

Battery seems to be the Achilles heel of most DAPs.
Batteries are the Achilles heel of pretty much any electronic device… Unless the manufacturer is humble enough to recognize the facts, and makes the battery easy to replace.

One of the best designs I found: the Aiyima H1 headphone amp. It uses an easy to find 14500 battery and they even include the hex. wrench to get the battery out (or roll the opamps).

Agree with all of this, if we are talking pure audio specs on paper at least, the M1 Plus is superior, the only thing that the R4 has that the M1 Plus doesn't is the better processor/android, so probably the user experience is better on the R4.
Using the M5U and R4 , i would say and have said in my reviews that the USER Experience is a better one with no bloat and the Edict player and MTOUCH software beats for me the R4. Now with Hiby Pure Audio mode still leaves much to be desired navigation wise and sound.

I am looking forward to hearing the M1 Plus and sharing my thoughts.

Could you please describe little bit about Shanling sound? I hope it's not thin and bright. Thanks
I have never heard A Shanling described like that. To me Shanling house sound is on the warmer, lusher side with full bass , clean mids and detailed treble.

buying has not always been sweet and easy. I ordered my Fiio M7 from a dealer on ebay, had very good ratings. It took almost two months and multiple emails before I finally got my unit. So when I have an experience as positive as ordering from shenzenaudio I call that a win. As for the 2 year warranty I know it is legitimate. My buddy ordered his Q1 also from shenzenaudio after trying mine. About 14 months after he bought it it died on him. He had to ship it back to them but he received a new unit 3 weeks later and shenzenaudio paid the shipping.

Ha. They don't have that battery anymore. Some problem with it... not powerful enough, I think.

Mine didn't have a replaceable battery. I wanted to like it. But really it's an awful amp.

Your review will go a long way to affirming my choice of the M1 Plus for my next DAP.

- For charging indicator, if the unit is powered off, the indicator will be off. It will only stay red only if your device is active or in standby mode. In this case it will pretty much stay on even for long time after battery is fully charged.

- For battery life, please be aware that the simple battery meter can be in-accurate. Just because it shows low level doesn't mean there isn't even few hours left. Especially if it's brand new unit.

You can test to run it from full charge to moment it turns off.

- For Bluetooth, what exact headphones, which codec and which codec setting are you using?
Please make sure the screen of M1 Plus is facing away from your body for ideal signal.
Thanks for your prompt response.

Re my Bluetooth issue, I left home today and around the town where I live the connectivity was fine, but when I got into the city centre it started constantly cutting out again every couple of seconds which of course makes it unusable.
I’m using the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e headphones. Playing FLAC files and the codec being used on the device is aptX HD.
I did make sure the screen is facing away from my body.

I think it’s telling that it works fine where I live but in the busy city centre where I am every day it doesn’t. There must be some reason why that’s the case.
Anyway, I hope you can help with this. Perhaps other users can check if possible; maybe firmware update can help if an issue.
