Is there any benefit of using a 15v power adapter ? The neo2 comes with 12v 1.8A as I recall
There's no benefit. I believe it has been posted here recently

hi. the ifi app doesn't see the neo 2 device, even though I reinstalled the app and reconnected the neo 2 to the wifi network.
If you are referring to the Nexis app, there have been a few reported issues regarding this. Sorry for any inconvenience, we are working to resolve this.

Don't forget, as a tip, you must be using a 2.4GHz network for the setup of the Nexis app.

yes, very annoying. Nexis app not working .

I am using 2.4 GHz network as before..

I can't use the device like this...

The implementation of the Nexis app with the Neo IDSD 2 is awful.

I managed to get it all set up some months ago. And then I didn't use it for a while.
I went to use the app today and my IDSD 2 was no longer listed in devices, so I went to set it up again.
A waste of time.
Despite disabling 5 GHz on my Virgin hub I couldn't connect via WiFi.
Bluetooth connects fine, and I can access the update section, but the remote control features etc are unavailable.

If the end user has to go in to admin settings on a router and disable 5GHz, just to get a device to communicate with the app, then the app isn't fit for purpose.

I should say that the Neo IDSD 2 is absolutely top notch, and I love it.
It does everything I want it to, in spite of the ghastly Nexis app.

I am not sure but something weird is going on with my Neo 2, got the DCA Noire X, running it with the Neo 2 , it sounds dull, sounds like it lacks power, especially at the low end, when running it with Diablo 2, it sounds massive, power, grip, bass, everything, also ran it with the Xduoo XD05 Pro, a 2W device, battery mode, sounds better than the Neo 2, is my device output faulty ?

Btw, what's the size of the barrel connector of the Ifi power supply bundled with the Neo2 ?

Also, has anyone tried to run the Neo2 from a powerbank?

The ifi nexis app doesn't work again, it doesn't see the neo 2 device.. seriously, how can a software always screw up like this???
Hello, not sure what may be occurring there. I would try signing out and back into the app using the logout screen.

If that doesn't work, it may be best to submit a ticket to our support folks so the issue may be escalated.

this is not the users' problem... just read this topic, scroll up a little, it's written there too. where the app works and where it doesn't. it's very annoying, learn to write software normally, I had a problem with the ifi zen stream app a long time ago. this might be my last ifi product, for so much money you can afford something like this, it's outrageous!!!

and you still expect the user to write to you, especially while you're nervous, asking you to fix it because it doesn't work. It's amazing.
