I am not sure how Paw Gold did it, but this player has insane micro detail while still being warm with excellent treble extension. It is like having a high-end Hi-Fi set up in your pocket. I am not even listening to my QP1R anymore.

How on Earth do you get album art to show on this player?

Just a guess... I think the album art needs to be imbedded in the music file and be 200x200 pixels or less.
I don't think the imbedded part is necesarrily.

I get most of my album art from a dutch music (album) site: https://www.musicmeter.nl/
From there I save them as 'cover' into the albumfolder. Usually these files are 300x300 and they all show up.

I think the easiest way is to cut out a picture of the album and sticky tape it to the player.
I think this also might work fine
Takes lost of tape though, as you have to switch pics with every album.

I have them both embedded and as cover.jpg all at 500x500 and they show, but many have the bottom cut out. I use a batch resize tool to resize them all

I tried your method and did get the album art to show up, but even @ 100x100 the image is clipped and there is a grey bar running down the right side of the field. I am once again guessing since the display is not square and the album art is, that the image will never be totally in frame. I will leave the album art to the lesser DAPs I own since they have bigger screens (and I would rather just listen to Diana without interruption)

Edit- the one bonus to lowering the pixel density is reduced file size, but since I wont need album art on Diana I am considering purging all album art instead
