Don't know about Japan's Google drive, but I bricked my P6 Pro trying to download 1.0.1.1. Got a replacement and is still burning in. But an interesting enhancement from my old firmware is the addition of several sound style selections. Don't know how many other updates already had these, but I'm curious to try them since I have a Traillii and IER Z1R.

I just installed the latest firmware update but I still have no sound style, I don't understand why :(

There are two files you need to put into it. One is for those sound profiles.

Can anybody show me how much volume on LP6! It does not show number or anything else on screen. Max vol on the first time turn on LP6 and play music.
If you do a search in the thread, you will see that there is no volume displayed on the screen. Because it is an analogue volume pot. :)

Can anyone tell me if the P6 Pro supports imported playlists? I would like to use normal .m3u-Playlists

"No" like you know it doesn't support playlists?
That would be pretty bad for a player that doesn't do anything else then play lists of songs. I have more than 1000 playlists. And a huge collection of songs.

I've had a convo with L&P about this via email. Due to their focus on audio first there's a lot of compromises made. Essentially the device does not have a processor unit besides the FPGA so it is incapable of handling tasks beyond what it already does.

Here's more bad news: you can't create or add a whole folder of tracks into a playlist. You quite literally have to add tracks ONE BY ONE.

To work around it I ended up just making a separate folder for each playlist and have duplicate tracks and use the folders as my "playlists"

LP is announcing a new dap this Saturday with dual AK4497 chips, non-Android. It was a project developed before pandemic, but halted because of the AKM fire thing. Very recently, LP was able to secure a batch of the rare 4497 chips so they are resuming the project.

The good thing is that they are actually able to use their brand new, completely redesigned UX on it. This is gonna be the UX we see in all of their next gen daps, including the LP7, which will be released later this year.

Here is a quick pic of the UX.

I don't like giving up on this so easily. The solution would be really helpful and seems to be not too far away.
What I found out so far is, that you are able to copy and edit existing playlists with external tools. The left over problem is, that there seems to be another inaccessible place where the number of files of a self created playlist is stored. So what I managed so far is to create my own playlist with one song. This works, but is of course not enough. So what I need to find out is, how to "register" the number of songs of the playlist, that I created myself. For that no extra processing interfering with the sound is needed, just some one time registration.
With whom from L&P did you communicate and in what language if I may ask?
