New P6Pro owner here. First minutes spent with it and the Jewel with Traillii DSP and already got confirmation that the Jewel sound better out of the P6Pro than out of the N8ii...or let's say in better accordance to my tastes.

Now playing around with IER-Z1R, C9 and Jewel.

This will take a while. Taking out the WP2 out for a spin with the LP6Ti AE. :)

I will say that I am very impressed with the WP2. Usually OTG cables make incremental differences to the sonics. Here, there is a very discernible improvement: it’s like a veil has been lifted. In addition to the transparency and clarity, there is also injection of musicality and dynamism. Very happy! :)

so are you saying this adapter makes the audio sound better than normal usb? I have been very disappointed in them usb quality so far.

Don't know about Japan's Google drive, but I bricked my P6 Pro trying to download 1.0.1.1. Got a replacement and is still burning in. But an interesting enhancement from my old firmware is the addition of several sound style selections. Don't know how many other updates already had these, but I'm curious to try them since I have a Traillii and IER Z1R.

Easy. Download the new firmware, unzip it, and then transfer it to your SD card in the root folder. Turn the DAP on and it will prompt you to update.
