So far I am loving the LP6Ti AE. I've have or have had many TOTL DAPs including the SP2000, 300MAX, as well as the P6Pro and others, and this does beat them all, even with the usual L&P quirks.

Mostly its been great but I have experienced some clipping even at volumes I would consider on the high side but not necessarily 'pushing it'. Has anyone else experienced that? Its always with bass-heavy passages which I would expect. There's no visual indicator, the sound merely cuts out or crackles, indicating that the protection circuit is doing its job I suppose.

Also -- does anyone know of any cases available for sale? Although the included 'camo' style case is workable I'm interested in other options if they exist.
For the case, I know that Vishnu leather from Korea makes good cases. They also supply cases for EA and EE too. You can contact them on Instagram. They make cases per your request in color and style.

+1 for Vishnu Leather, he makes amazing stuff. I ordered a case for my P6 Pro, it's in customs now and should be with me soon. Just be prepared to pay $225 usd, and wait several weeks. He sent me these photos when he shipped it.

(I don't like the fancy look he does as much, so I went with matte black and wine red stitching)

I asked for this case together with LP6TiAE but haven't got it yet. It matches the P6 Pro case, I think.

Happy new year to all! To the year of the LP7! Yes, it is near midnight here. :)

Just for kicks I would like to hook up the LP6Ti AE to my Auris Audio Headonia tube amp. The Headonia only has RCA inputs. Can someone recommend a cable and the best (or easiest) method to make this work?

Thanks and Happy New Years to all.

I use this cable to connect my LP6 with WA7’s RCA input.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Can you tell me what setting you change on the LP6 when running it to WA7?
Nothing. The 3.5mm output is in LO by default. Simply plug in the cable and play music. :)

I just love when things are this simple. Thanks again.
Be prepared to be impressed! Before I picked up the Denafrips Ares II, I used the LP6 and the P6Pro as sources for my desktop amps. Very good indeed! :)
