I will tell you the interface on this thing is rather primitive. No such luxurious option unlike their company name. :
This is all for supreme audio quality in old ways.

6.35 > 3.5mm? Interesting..I will try that for sure.
Yup! No android bells and whistles which also compromises the SQ. The trade off is worth it though! :)

Does TI AE have double tap to wake up screen? I really like that feature on p6pro.
Hmm… I just tried. It seems not. Unless I need to turn it on somewhere.

It seems 6.35 removes bit of shaper edge comparing to 4.4 while keeping the ultra resolution but the difference is not as grave.
Yes, less technical but more musical you may say. With its sheer raw power TI brings all the output devices, either full-size or IEM
to their fullest potential. Holographic yet extremely tight presentation with no sense of hollowness. Very intense, not a mellow device
to mess with so some may find it even fatiguing for extended use.

With the LP6 I found that, with burn in, it starts opening up and relaxing. Frankly with the LP DAPs, I can actually listen all day long with no fatigue. in fact, I use the LO to feed my desktop amps with great rewards. I just plug in a iDevice into the LP DAP to stream and it is all good from the streaming perspective. :)

I have Denafrips Terminator which cannot be beaten for desktop use so never thought of using this small dap for anything other than portable use with IEM.
Yes, I only had the dap for an hour or two so I will keep baking it up to its optimal transformation.

In P6pro, System settings -> Advanced -> Touch Screen and Keys -> Double click wake up

And in general, the function is touch and go, or tap'n'go :D

Nice! I picked up the Denafrips Ares once I had a taste of what R2R offers. Will ponder the Terminator in due course. :)

For me the convenience is I can then stream services like QQMusic, KKBox and other slightly less mainstream services easily.

Thanks Alex! I will confess I never bothered looking for it. heheh! but it's now on for the Obsidian. Will switch it on for the black P6P later.

Sadly, this doesn't seem to be there for the LP6Ti AE.

I recall that some time back there was some discussion about using iPhones as streaming sources for the LP6. @bluestorm1992 and I had suggested some usb c to lightning cables that would work for that purpose, most of which were pretty short. Contrast that with usb c to usb c cables - no issues at all.

Today I was trying out some new cables I had picked up from FiiO and Lotoo. So I thought no harm testing my other cables. You can imagine my surprise when they work! Luxury & Precision must have fixed the issue with the last FW but it didn’t occur to me to check because I had given it up as a lost cause. Chuffed!

FiiO, which produced LT-LT1 which is a very reliable for lightning connecting cable, has now released in China the LT-LT3. This cable is longer than the LT-LT1, around 15cm.

Does anyone know if the LP6Ti firmware on the Musicteck site is intended to work with the LP6Ti AE? Or if there is another firmware update somewhere that will work with the LP6Ti AE?
I just asked LP. No they are not the same FW. That is, the AE uses its own FW. Future FW updates of it will be released separately in the future.

So far I am loving the LP6Ti AE. I've have or have had many TOTL DAPs including the SP2000, 300MAX, as well as the P6Pro and others, and this does beat them all, even with the usual L&P quirks.

Mostly its been great but I have experienced some clipping even at volumes I would consider on the high side but not necessarily 'pushing it'. Has anyone else experienced that? Its always with bass-heavy passages which I would expect. There's no visual indicator, the sound merely cuts out or crackles, indicating that the protection circuit is doing its job I suppose.

Also -- does anyone know of any cases available for sale? Although the included 'camo' style case is workable I'm interested in other options if they exist.
