Indeed! Fingers crossed @Ojisan that DHL picks the package up tomorrow… 🙏
Nice! DHL did pick up the package on 23rd Dec. So, it’s currently being processed in the German DHL sort facility. :)

Just a quick note to say I think those waiting for the LP6 TI 7Th are going to be delighted. Mine arrived yesterday and because of the holidays I only got about an hour with it, but wow. I don’t usually gush over gear but I found LP6 TI 7Th remarkable. Recently I’ve mostly been listing to the P6 Pro with Mason FS, I also just received the DXMAX 300 TI this week, my portable gear (present or past) includes WM1Z, SP2000, Cayin C9, W00 Audio W8, Mojo/Poly, Hugo 2/2go, DMP Z1. Yes, I probably have a problem :relieved:

I believe the LP6 TI 7Th handily outperforms all of them, with the possible exception of the DMP Z1, I’ll need to do some more dedicated comparisons between the two and will likely find they excel at different things. I love the P6 Pro with the Mason FS but the LP6 TI 7Th is steps above it. I spent 5 minutes with the Utopias and was astonished how this little unit drove them. It could be said that the new LP6 should outperform everything considering it’s price is so much higher than everything but the DMP Z1, and I suppose that is true, but it is still very special to hear it do it and with such a small unit.

Obviously the unit isn’t burnt in, I only listened for a short period, and I could have been suffering from “new thing” excitement. However, I’ve had lots of “new things” and the LP6 TI really shocked me.

For those lucky few waiting on yours to arrive I thought you would enjoy reading this. I look forward to hearing impressions from others who have more experience and better audiophile language to describe their experience. Due to family commitments I’m sorry I won’t be able to do any more testing for a bit.

Happy Holidays to all.

Thanks for making the time to give us a sneak preview. Indeed I figured it must be special because in Mainland China, I hear that it is changing hands at around 25% above the list price on the secondary market.

Happy holidays to you and your loved ones! 🎄

It is indeed crazy. People in mainland China are paying 48000 RMB (~7600 usd) to get one in the secondary market. It was sold out there almost within the same day that it was announced so many people missed it.

Hmm any reason why they wouldn’t buy from Musicteck before shelling out higher price?

If this how crazy it got with LP6 Ti 7th, imagine what is going to happen in a year with LP7?

Just my opinion, but I think many audiophiles look at L&P high end DAPs as an investment, similar to high end desktop DAC/amp systems. There is no Android OS to become obsolete or sigma-delta DACs plagued by incremental upgrades (all those AKM 44xy versions) that end up being discontinued (again, AKM example). So, while you spend more money, in theory, it should last you a lot longer as well and probably will have a higher resale value. And, of course, the sound quality of L&P DAPs is up there as well.

I know two ppl who have already done so…

But generally, custom in China is PITA to deal with. Items can easily get held up in custom for more than 1 month. The faster way will be to ship it to HK and then ask ppl to bring that in to mainland China in person. Just lots of effort lol

Here are the two public (re)sell posts, both of which are gone by now I believe. One goes for 46800 RMB and the other one goes for 48800 RMB.

Love the ease of use of the USB DAC function of LP DAPs. :L3000:

Wow!!

Congratulations. The player looks so solid! Especially the leather case, seems LP have stepped it up a notch. 7th Anniversary puts other DAPs to shame.

Just ordered one so really hope it's worth the price tag. I really like the organic, lively sound of P6 Pro on Odin+Centurion but wanted a little bigger sound. Hopefully, it will be help me get me through these boring days of covid containment. :)
congrats!! Look forward to your impressions.
