Thanks,
Did not try your MAC fix yet, does that really address the file created by date issue when using the directory.
My files are already named correctly. 01,02,03, etc…
Yes. Fully solve it. Worked for both me and @Kiats.

Using the P6 Pro as USB DAC to run Roon via the SP2000Cu. Great thing is that it is small and light enough not to be too much of a burden. :)

Only strange thing that happened is when I turned on the SRC to DSD 128. Just got static… hmm…

See what the nice DHL man brought this morning. Big shout out to Andrew @MusicTeck ! Took just 3 days for the P6 Pro to make it across to me in Singapore!

Chaps, I have one question: other than sticking the cables in, what else do I need to do other than switching on the USB DAC mode? I just did with the DDHifi cable with my iPhone but nothing happened… Puzzling…

These days, Texas is further than Singapore from NJ ... Just got mine in today!

I love the look and feel, and the starting point for the sound signature! There's a lovable character to the whole experience. This is going to be a fun listen!

My goodness... I expected this to be good but it blew waaaay past my expectations!

With the bird, bass comes alive, excellent weight in mid-bass, vocals are natural, and treble is smooth yet it has all the necessary sharp transients. Definitely a better pairing than M8 to my ears. I will A/B at some point but this is really approaching my desktop stack.... I can't stop! No wonder y'all are so quiet here, lol

This thing is mind-blowingly good. I have zero complaint for its sound.

Also, don’t A/B with your other DAPs… They all sound artificial to me in the direct comparisons.

Speaking of new machine, just got my LP6 Platinum version in.

Man all I can say is this is a step up from the P6 Pro. It has a dominating sound signature. It delivers sound with authority. It is the king, the Tzar in sound.

Edit: Since this is a J-pop tuning LE, why not some music from Mika Nakashima.

Can you load older firmware if it’s not your taste? Or do they limit to upgrade only?

Yes you do. Just load the old files and re-do the whole process.

As they say, just when you thought you reached the summit, there is another summit!

I was enjoying my j-pop collections too. :beerchug:

I have found P6 Pro to work great in delivering a smoother sound while LP6 is very energetic. For musical IEMs like the bird, I actually think that it could work better with P6 Pro as it may get “too engaging” when paired with LP6.

With FS, I have found both DAPs to pair great as they fit different moods.
