Anyone is using Tidal with the SR15? How reliable is the wifi connectivity and the Tidal app?

Hello, very few reviews of sr15 posted, but if choosing between ak702 and updated model, I would go with SR15.. Dac chips were updated and from scarce reviews, SR15 sq is better.

I also own Kann, love Kann as well

Wondering how this compares to the Kann? My next upgrade from the AKJR is either the Norma or the Kann. Can anyone compare? Are they that dramatically different?

I have both the KANN and SR15. It really depends on your intended use. KANN is huge and not something you want to stick in your pocket daily, but it can drive full size headphones with authority. SR15 is tiny in comparison but also less powerful. They both sound good. I personally dislike the new UI on the SR15.

Thank you! I don’t intend to drive my HD650’s with the Kann so perhaps the SR15 is more aligned with my tastes.

Butting in: Why not get the SE100? I have it, it's powerful enough and sounds way better than the SR15

Yeah, this was my thought as well. As much as I’d like to: I really can not afford that, right now. Was more wondering what the difference would be for the next upgrade.
Of course, now I’m curious about the SE100!

Very smooth and detailed. It sounds so amazing I want more! If it is so good, I can only wonder what the sp1000m is like...

Sadly (?) I won’t be experiencing that anytime soon. My main passion is to vinyl and speakers so the budget for portables will be smaller.

Having said that, if I’m in love with the AKJR, I can assume the SR15 will be a dramatic step up?

Yes I have both. I actually started writing a review of the sr15, but I abandoned it, I will PM you my sound impression notes. Very much a step up from the Jr.
