    Full specs -

As a compact counterpart to the reference models "SP1000" and "SE100", Astell & Kern presents the new "A & norma Sp15". The "little one" will be equipped with a new CS dual-DAC, new 4-core chip and also a new user interface.

The A&norma SR15 is the first model from Astell&Kern’s new standard line of players. The A&norma line is designed to provide those new to high resolution audio a feature-packed introduction to the Astell&Kern brand. ‘Pragmatic’ Hi-Fi is now available with A&norma. The A&norma SR15 is packed with several features found in previous Astell&Kern flagship devices so that even beginners can enjoy the fullest musical details when listening with an A&norma player. The SR15 uses the proven Master HIFI level DAC chip, the Cirrus Logic CS43198, and features a Quad-core CPU which provides abundant power to process high-res music and creates an intuitive and snappy user experience. The A&norma SR15 can playback up to 24bit/192kHz PCM audio, and single-rated DSD natively. All of these features are packaged in a solid aluminum alloy body that resembles the popular AK70 series. The user interface is also very intuitive and is based on other upper-tier models in the Astell&Kern line.

Interesting, but no 4.4 mm balance? Since this has already taking over.

No, A&K will stick with 2.5mm. Is it just me or SP15 screen is weirdly tilted?

Is norma supposed to be a reference to normie. A&normie?

Yea we know it's not the top of the line but this naming is unfortunate.

I think it's means "small/baby" "little one" in reference to it's physical size.

Ah, too bad the association power of the word norma is significantly less than that of normie.

Suddenly I regret recently buying an AK70 MKII because the SR15 appears to be a direct upgrade in the same form factor. Not sure I like the ergonomics of the tilted screen, but visually its a bold choice that makes a real statement. AK aren't resting on their laurels that's for sure.

If it's such a great feature...why doesn't the flagship model and mid of the run model also have an oddly tilted 15 degree screen.
