I'm Driving Myself Crazy on a $200 budget

Budget be damned. I ordered the DT 770/80 for $160 off Ebay, a Blue Yeti desktop from a friend for $50, and a Zalman mic as a "backup" of sorts to try and use as a noise canceling mic with either push to talk or by way of the mute switch on my keyboard. I'll also be ordering an AntLion Modmic when the new mute versions (2.1) are available next month to try and get a true gaming headset feel. I really hope these are the cans I've been looking for, I'm very excited to get them. My only concern (still) is that they look like on-ear cans rather than over-ear, due to the round shape of the pads. I've always found that oval pads fit me better and give a little wriggle room.

I'll update this thread at a later date for anyone else in my position!

Dude, they're over-ear. It's not even close. Just look at pics of them on people's heads. The cups are larger than my KRK KNS 8400's cups, which are also fully over-ear.
