No. I want to know if the Saund travels all around your head and trugh it. Like Ibasso dx200 with Amp8.You mean you can hear it in front of you but once the sound passes your slow ears then you can hear it ?

Not sure how to answer, but the 3D effect typically seems to increase the perceived size of the soundstage. However, on my HD800, it will take sounds from the far left and put them much closer to the center. It does sort of fill up the bubble of sound more on the 800. On the Atticus, it seemed more like it had the desired effect of making the stage more holographic.Hi guys. Is the sounds going behind your head? Or is it a proper 3D sound stage in the middle of your head?
Or its iBassoPlease advise - using the iFi OTG cable out usb-c on my iBasso DX220 I get much static on DSD playback, do I need a better cable? Thanks.
...this is true and perhaps the case but I'm trying to avoid having to send it in.
SPDIF is fine, this is perplexing.Or its iBasso

Yup: http://support.ifi-audio.com/
Yup. MQA needs CPU blocks available (which S/PDIF occupies to work) so if you'd like to have your S/PDIF available, those two FW are off the list.
Bummer, that is disappointing. I hope you are continuing to work on a solution to that.
he downloads page mentions that 5.1b is a special version that stops the iDSD trying to charge from a smart phone. I thought that this could be controlled by turning the iDSD on before connecting it to the phone? If I install 5.1b, does that mean the iDSD will no onger charge from a computer? Also, there's no longer a DL link for 5.1b and there is only a single link for 5.2a/b, what effect will that link have on USB/smart phone charging?

Nope. There's no solution. It's either MQA and S/PDIF switched off, or MQA and S/PDIF switched on.
We'd have to use a more powerful XMOS to have more computing power and accommodate both functionalities. That's a hardware change we won't do.
Have you seen this?

smartphone is connected to the Bl , also used a tiny dap usb to usb.I have another doubt, if I connect the IFI Micro BL to a smartphone, and I want to play DSD files, would it be playing natively?
Yes. I'm looking under other iFi firmware. I want to keep the spdif out. I want the iDSD to charge when attached to the PC as USB/spdig converter BUT not use battery mode when connected to my phone.
