Thanks for your information, I thought that it was produced to work specifically with HD6xx and many sellers in my country thought that also. But after reading the product description on iFi home page, I know me and many people were wrong so just want to confirm here.

I'd have to double-check, but most likely you got the one from a batch with iPowerX.

The Drop version comes with the iPowerX (or at least mine did) and the product page still indicates this. It's also $50 cheaper.

I plug the ipowerX and the amp all the time. But if you want the leds and the capacitor on your ipowerx to live longer you should unplug it imo

They can be, sure, but we always recommend to go green and disengage audio stuff not in use

Going green is one thing..definitely on the right direction...but what I am asking is that if that is going to harm the power supply in any way or degrade its quality to have it plugged in all the time?

In general, all our DACs have installed the latest firmware available when they're released. These FW versions then can be replaced by users. Hope this helps, thanks!

Ok I've just bought a new Mini Mac M2 Pro, so now I have the need for some kind of cable splitter? or Hub? as I still have my Windows 11 PC and now the Mac.
Question is how do I connect both computers to my iFi Dac Sig 2? I'm open to any ideas that will keep the great sound quality I already have
