OK, that's seriously wierd. Let's take this to the PM, so I can try to help you from there, alright?

thank you very much thats really appreciated. just to clarify literally same thing on both units straight out of a sealed box from your Amazon store and the line in and amp and bluetooth works but none of the rear switches or bass/3d button works on the sound. and like I said I've a/B both units to the one I'm sending back to be repaired so I'm pretty sure I'm not going crazy 🤯because all switches and buttons work perfect on that one im sending back repairs and you can clearly hear the change your amp makes to the sound especially on the sundaras. and in comparison on the 2 recent units literally not even a tiny db change as I say literally nothing no change in the sound...... but I still hear the amazing and clean sound your amp still makes on a defective unit which makes it hurt even worse because I love this thing when it's working 😅 thank you again and appreciate your time

Modded a pair of HD6XX to 4.4 and plugged it into xcan with a ddhifi (2.5->4.4) adaptor, noticed the right side is noticeably louder than the left. Any idea what might be the problem? Tried plugging directly into the M11’s 4.4 with no issue.

A bit of fiddling with M11’s channel balance can alleviate then issue but a bit troublesome having to adjust the setting each time I change the headphone.

Yup, Thor’s hammer as it is commonly referred to here. 😂
Turns out to be a connection issue with the signal cable (stock xcan one) between the M11 and xcan, must not push it hard into the xcan end. Will get a new signal cable later.

Good to know that it's a cable thing rather than anything else!

Does the xCAN have over charge protection ? Like, can I keep it plug into the charger while using it at all Time ?
Hi,

That is completely safe, although you may find other products in the lineup a better bang for the buck if it's strictly to be left plugged in to power.

You may of course find that the battery wears down over time somewhat despite not really being used, owing to the properties of lithium-ion batteries when being topped up all the time in a device that gives off heat to the batteries.

Best regards,
Joe

Hi Povidlo,
It sounds like the issue you are struggling with is of mechanical nature and since we have never come across any problem like that, I would recommend to open a new ticket through the customer support system https://support.ifi-audio.com/open.php. so that our tech team could help you out.

Best regards,
iFi team

I contacted your support team. Still waiting for the unit to be serviced/replaced since July 22. I haven't even been provided with a shipping label to send it in.

Can the user plug into xCAN's 2.5mm balanced output using 2.5mm IEMs after sending 3.5mm headphone-out of cellphone into xCAN's 3.5mm unbalanced line-input?
