    What was thier reply to that? I will be shame.
    I think they should redo ICan and IDSD to proper tube swap.

    I found this in amazon about swaping tubes:
    So better like stock GE5670 or go find another amp...

    Havent been on the forum lately, but I've swapped tubes on idsd pro and ican pro for a long time now.

    I've swapped in 6n3p-dr, JW 2c51, GE 5670 3 mica, and much more. The only time where I ran into red light is when theres a slight gap between the tube pins and the socket. When putting tubes in, your hands feedback may tell you it's all the way in, but I've found from visual inspection it didnt make it in all the way. So double check visually.

    The 2nd culprit I've found was the top connector pins when sliding the cover back on that the white sticker wasnt aligned and leaving the possibility for pin to touch the cover.

    Outside of that, haven't had any real incompatibility though.

    it is true that the tubes if they are inserted incorrectly can not work,
    and especially the most important would have been to read what I had written since the beginning, the tests were done with 5 sets of tubes, all GE5670, and of course when I replace the tubes must hold the support not to take the risk of the desodized, 2 sets of tubes were sent by ifi pro themselves, there are only the tubes delivered with the ifi pro ican that work, as a reminder, I had tube amps since 1970s,

    We did many, but we stick to the ones inside of our products. In case of pro iCAN it's GE5670.

    Can you provide us with your ticket number so we can see what actually happened? Our staff here on HF are not the same people responsible our support line. Thanks!

    We think we did more than well with both these products considering their size and performance. Plus, tube swaps are possible.

    hello, I took the time to redo more accurate tests, 5 pairs of GE 5670 tube sets w only 3 tubes work including the 2 tubes of origins,
    the 2 sets of tubes sent by ifi pro do not work, maybe most GE 5670 w, are not good, ticket # 347507

    5 sets of tubes = 10 tubes sure 5 sets of tubes = 10 tubes, 3 work including the 2 tubes delivered with pro ican,

    No matter how good i put WE396A in Pro ICan they don't work and no matter how bad i put stock GE5670 they will work...
    IFI support is very slow...

    Our tech team does their very best to provide our customers with quick replies, it usually takes up to 48 hours, but sometimes a bit longer if our main tech team has to be involved. Having said this, we can't agree with your statement that our support line employees are slow. If you'd like to, please give us your ticket number and we'll gladly check your case, otherwise we'd wait just as everyone else does, thanks!

    As for tubes good/bad, Pro iDSD's circuit has its own tolerance for tube values, which means that it internally measures them before startup. If they are within said tolerance, they work. If not, then Pro iDSD goes red. In the event of this happening, we'd check condition of tubes in the first place. If these are off and came from us, we'll gladly swap. If not, then what the machine is indication of a fault developed in tubes.

    hello, my iFi pro ican was posted yesterday to the French importer, + 2 GE 5670 stockpipe sets sent by ifi pro, which did not work on the ifi pro ican,
