Hi Folks,

Does anyone know what the four circles are meant to represent on the screen when you select Wifi as source input.
They are in the bottom right (one of the circles is filled in, the other three are empty).

Can't seem to find any mention of it in the manual.

Thanks!

They stand for wifi, ethernet, USB harddrive, microSD. I know top right is Ethernet. The other I'm not too sure.

I hope no one bothers with this one with Pro iDSD...

The stock iPower Plus 15Vdc is already internally grounded
The stock SMPS for my iCANpro has two pimary rails thus no connection to ground. So I doubt that this SMPS can be grounded internally, and the stock SMPS of iDSDpro should be a different one, or is it?

Weird

Haven't used the Pro iDSD for a month and powering up tonight, the WiFi didn't connect. My WiFi is fine (my phone and notebook is connected to it as we speak in the same room)

Normally you get a voice prompt saying it has. Tonight NADA

Then I tried looking for it on Muzo or on UPNP via Audirvana. Nothing showed up.

Then I tried using WPS to connect to my router. I held and pressed the WPS button till it said WPS Pairing - then it disappeared (while my Linksys app kept WPS enabled for 2 minutes). But it never connected either. Any way of doing a system reset?

The Pro iDSD manual I checked out on the phone seemed very scant on any real set up steps
The manuals for BL/silver and iCANpro are, for my understanding, also a bit scant regarding the complexity of the matter.

Maybe I've missed the post, but will pro-IDSD be Roon ready?

Thanks!

It was discussed before. It's not currently in the works per ifi. You can get a renderer like SMS200 or micro/ultrarendu if you want Roon. I finally got Pro iDSD working well as a network player using Jriver DLNA. Everything from MP3 to DSD stream without a hitch, and there is just no competition between the sound quality of ethernet connection and USB connection even in a DAC with a very good USB connection. I highly recommend everyone to try the ethernet route.

I find that Windows 10 is very finicky as a DLNA server regardless what software you use. If you keep changing settings, Windows will run multiple copies of the server and chokes the performance. Once you restart the computer and clears the memory, it plays smooth again.

Pro iDSD started rebooting itself every few minutes. Disconnected it and this morning brought it to the office and it seems stable now. Works on Ethernet but for the life of me, I can't find any instructions to connect to a second WiFi SSID which I would need for the office. I want to test that the WiFi module isnt dead.

For those trying network play on Windows, I just realized that wifi is causing significant latency lag with DLNA server even though I was running it off ethernet. I used LatencyMon which traced it to dxgkrnl.sys. Turning off the wifi completely took care of it.
