Congratulations to you all Ifi audio people....:L3000:

Thanks! Much appreciated!

Also folks, if you're by any chance visitors to the GUANGZHOU HIGH END event (this weekend!), we'll be there! You can find us at the Dongfang Hotel's rooms 661 and 663 at the 6th floor, and also we'll have a booth (12B) at the ground floor!

And yup, that's the award for our Pro iDSD right there!

I have ifi Powerstation and get the two polarity and earth lights up green, but I get this strange behavior from the polarity indicator, sometimes the polarity indicator lights up solid green and sometimes lights up orange or solid red.

Can anyone help me on this? Why did this happened? Is this normal? I am not an electrician so any explanation will be much appreciated, thanks.

Most likely this is a faulty LED, but this isn't normal. Please can you open up a support ticket where our team can assist you. https://support.ifi-audio.com/

Several days ago Chris Martens published his PowerStation review at Hi-Fi+. He wrote:

"I recommend the iFi PowerStation and AC iPurifiers for the simple reason that they help unlock more music for less money than other competing power conditioners I have tried. You cannot say fairer than that."

so, can i use the powerstation as both power supply to pc and my jds atom? so it reduces noise from pc to my usb maybe? the jds i believe can be made cleaner but the pc side?

or maybe i should get an AC ipurifier instead

PowerStation will clean power going to every product you connect to it. So yes, it will reduce noise coming to your PC, but power supplies inside of PCs are noisy by nature.

Does the powerstation indicate an error if the incoming AC is symmetrical, i.e. 115-0-115? There is a ground, so from either line, the voltage is 115V and line to line 230V.

Is the iPurifier removable from the powerstation?

PowerStation indicates polarity and mains Earth are correct.

Is the iPurifier removable from the powerstation?

iPurifier is one of PowerStations crucial features, plus it's useful and efficient. By design it's not removable.

OK, put another way, at what voltage between earth and neutral does the powerstation trip at?

That is assuming the output receptacles are switched off on fault and not just show LED.

I'll ask internally about this.

PowerStation indicates an earth fault if earth and neutral are not bonded together (which they are in all major electrical systems). Symmetric power will always indicate polarity and earth fault, as earth is not bonded to neutral, and as there is no determining polarity with respect to earth.
