I stand corrected. It may just be an Amazon thing. The SupaNova cable is listed on iFi's website at $499, so you can buy it from them at a more reasonable price.

The ifi powerstation was $499.99 two years ago when I purchased it on amazon. I had purchased a few supanova cables for $350.00 two years ago as well.
You’re right. I don’t know why I mixed up the powerstation with their power cables. It is now priced at $749 on their website and I stand by my original comment about iFi Audio raising prices because they can get away with it.

iFi powerstation is very good with good power cable.

Furutech Flux-50 took it a level above and boosted the ANC performance I believe. It need a very good power cable.

Alone it is not good enough imo.

@iFi audio my desk setup is a little complicated at present. Is it safe to connect the Powerstation to an extension tower like the one below...

As long as the tower can handle the load of whatever is connected to the Powerstation there should be no issue.

In that pic it looks like there is an amperage breaker in the tower itself so you should be fine!

Cheers!!

A question regarding power setup, mirroring supanova thread.

Currently running my gear from the wall with rather cheap shielded copper cables (around 100 eu per cable) and decided to upgrade to match Envy with May.
The idea is to get 3 supanova cables and ifi powerstation, which will result roughly in a 1.5-1.7k purchase. Which is a lot. To those who are more versed in the ways of power lol - are there any better solutions?

I can't comment on better solutions, however, I must give thanks that we are considered in such a lofty purchase and in the conversation so to speak!

Cheers!!

So, am I understanding it correctly that if I don't have a grounded outlet in my wall, I can plug in a "4mm banana socket" cable and... do what? Clamp it to my radiator like you do with grounding armbands for PCs? Does Ifi sell that cable? I've literally seen zero info on this...

(And I don't have grounded wall outlets where I have my audio setup... but honestly, I have zero issues with noise as it is...)

I'm looking to get the iFi powerstation for my computer audio setup.

Currently running an Audience Adept Response AR2P-T3, pilfered from my main stereo setup. The sound is quite gloriously black and silky from that unit.

If anyone's experienced or own both, and can enlighten on the differences and relative merits, I'd greatly appreciate.

I hope you can get the answers you seek from the members here.

On a side note just a reminder that all or "almost all" of these products have moved to our Silent Power website which can be found here...

Cheers!!
