Perhaps the problem is the amount of memory you are leaving for Audirvana.
Try leaving about 4Gb.

I did, but it made no difference. But thanks for the suggestion. I’d guessed that more memory, especially with =>DSD128, would be advantageous.

In your home network do you have 2.4ghz? 5ghz? for wifi, and also are you able to choose which one you use, or is it a mix.

I have both, but am using 5 ghz. The distance to the router is less than 3 meters.

I’ll try when back home. Yes, I have a support ticket running, both with Audirvāna and IFI.
With only Ethernet though I have the same problems.

I see, my apologies I didn't realize that ethernet gave the same result.

Do you think there is any way you would be able to send me one of the files you are having issues with? I no longer use Audirvana after switching to Roon. I am curious if Roon will give the same problems.

I am sorry I did miss it.

Let me start with this I do not own nor have I ever heard the NEO iDSD so I wouldn't have a direct actual comparison for you.

That being said I have been told by friends that they prefer the NEO Stream DAC although they are very similar the NS presents a more Dynamic and pleasing sound at least to my friends that have heard both, I absolutely love my NS sound. Now some important considerations.

Are you using this in a headphone amp capacity? I ask because obviously, the NS has no headphone amp so if that is needed it wouldn't be a smart switch, please let me know if this is just a DAC-to-DAC thing, kind of a two-different animals kind of thing.

Without saying more than I can if you are just looking for an upgrade to the NEO iDSD I might hang on to my decision-making for just a bit

Ifi idsd pro ( the largest sound ) > ifi one signafure ( nice detail on the low levels ) > ifi neo ( deap soundstage ) > ifi neo stream ( dac Inside )

I'm using it with an integrated amplifier.
I've owned several DACs and the NEO iDSD has been the best so far.
I still have some DACs here at home like the SMSL DO200MKII, but I would like to combine the quality of the DAC with the stream to perhaps eliminate the computer.
But the doubt remains if I will not lose in quality afterwards.

If ifi will take one signature and add the output from neo dac with an i2s input and external clock input will be an 2000€ best seller of al time . Hope for the best expect nothing
