As a user you can't expect this to be a major problem if the manufacturer allows the user keep the screen running on high brightness non-stop. Also if the screen is prone to problems, maybe choose a different technology or no screen at all.There was always the option to turn off the display, but maybe they could have posted a warning in the manual in regards to the OLED screen burning in. At the moment the manual only states that the screen is OLED and if you are familiar with the issues this type of display has, you know that burn in is one of them, but if you are not, well.. you just get to see the effect after a while.
