Question. Does the 5V version comes in USB C 5V adapter?
Yes, iPower X 5V has this adapter included.
From the specs i cant see this is quieter then previous version ipower vs ipowerx just better capitance. Both rated at 1uv noise floor. For connecting with switch and router i might not need the better capitance? Or am i missing something? Why is this quiter or better in my usecase?
Comparing with this https://ifi-audio.com/products/ipower/
Although I already replied in the other thread to the same question, here goes:
"Due to reworks done to iPower X, it should be quieter. But both iPower and iPower X are rated at 0.1uV as there's no equipment that would measure beyond this point. At least our AP measuring equipment can't!"

So does this have downsides as some power Filters, which reduce dynamics?
How does it work coupled with a Schiit Loki?

I haven't yet seen that it would. But to clarify, by filters you mean conditioners?

Yes I mean conditioners.
I don't think that iPower X would impact dynamics in any noticeable way, at least I haven't noticed this myself and I haven't seen any such feedback yet.

That's the question I'd like to see answered as well

I have not heard any difference with my mobile charger (that loads it half as slow as original included charger) when loading and playing at the same time vs listening to battery powered hugo 2. I dont know if dektop mode draws the power differently as i never entered that mode. How are people finding the iFi iPower X with the Chord Hugo 2? Well I will be happy to give it try. My Cuinas ISO-Super Cap somehow shorted out after an accident with my computer knocked everything over. The Cuinas sounds better than
an LPS 1.2 which sounded noticeably better than the LPS 1.0. The LPS 1.0 was significantly better than the old Ipower which I sold. The Cuinas does not use output regulators
which is apparently what helps it sound better...eliminating switching noise. You can hear the difference...so sold my LPS 1.2. Anyhow if this Ipower X is anywhere near the ballpark of a 1.2 then its a steal at the price. I will use it as a backup once my Cuinas is back from repairs. May then just use it to drive my SSD drives completely seperately after that. The Cuinas actually runs 2 SSD drives and my JCAT USB Femto with no problems...up until my accident.
Very exciting to find something with this level of potential at a more than reasonable price.
Thanks IFI!!!!! BTW if did enjoy my IDSD until I got a completely rebuilt upgraded Oppo Sabre DAC!

Sure, you're welcome
Power components don't have to be crazy expensive to be good
