There's no leakage current. Our units have a special transformer design that allows the Y-capacitor to be reduced 22 - 100 times in comparison to most similar devices.

I also want to see a 24V iPower, hope that will happen someday.

@iFi audio is it likely a 24v version of the ipower x will be released? There are plenty of devices that would benefit greatly from a decent 24v power supply, especially given how difficult it is to find a linear power supply for 24v.
Pi2aes, thx 789 etc
My ultrasonic essential oil diffuser runs on 24v. It makes an annoying mosquito noise when running. Think an ipower would make it less noisy?

Might help, but it depends on a source of that noise. You in 100% sure there are no mosquitos trapped in the device ?

Sonore told me a 7v would be better than the 9v because of the heat it produce.I'm using the 9v version w/o any problems.
Further, this voltage is missing in the ifi range.

Is there an answer? Leakage was/is a problem with the old ifi ipower.I'll ask internally about this.
How about the new one? And can you prove it in a comparison?

To what? Leakage current? If so, please see the post #77.

Once I'll have something, I'll share it here.

Is a black version coming? I like a black version better. All my gear is black.
By the way: IFI surprises me everytime with new stuff, keep it coming.

I have read that the one and only John Swenson wrote about this bad habit. There's no leakage current. Our units have a special transformer design that allows the Y-capacitor to be reduced 22 - 100 times in comparison to most similar devices.

That's unlikely at this point, but this might change.

Thanks!

+1 for a black version. As an owner of the original iPower, I could still tolerate the LEDs of the iPower X, but that white enclosure is a deal breaker to me...
