Any plans for a new portable dac/amp to replace signature and the red one?

And none of the MQA stuff or I and my wallet will stay clear. The HipDac2 was pretty cool and looked great too but easily resisted due to the BS of MQA.

Mqa is not bad at all for mobile use.
Ifi in particular has managed to enjoy it with the Hip 2 and have zero loss of quality.

Otherwise on the stereo or headphones is nice but I don't have to have it every day.


I'm curious to see what the Ifi hip dac 3 will bring.
Hopefully a lcd panel and wifi compatible hehe.

By the way, if you don't want Mqa on the Ifi Hip dac 2 there is a version on the homepage where you can bypass it.
That's the great thing about it and that Ify has thought about it.

I just noticed the Xbass description on the HipDac2 webpage...

"XBass is an analogue headphone spatialiser. It opens up your music to give you the feeling of spaciousness experienced at a live concert"

According to the manual - "XBass is an analogue circuit designed to 'add back' the lost bass response for a more accurate reproduction of the original music."

Is XBass is trying to be XSpace?
