this thing overheats like crazy when I use it on PC. It's manageable with normal input but balanced input + high bitrate will overheat... -

I also use the ZX300 into the PHA3 too with a custom made USB walkman digital cable.

I recommend silver USB cable. I made my own from an old Moon Audio silver dragon headphones cable.
