hmmm what i think of Qv2 in my system are nice touch i was very impressed by it ,firstly i thought it was just snake oil then the retail person which i knew just let me took back those for trial test say i could just bring them back if i don't like....but after i plug in those i realize my system sounded damn good the effect is better than i upgrading power cord....i heard things like vocal having more depth, soundstage is wider and small things like birds chipping in the forest or person when tying her hair i able to hear them before that...are not that pronounce.....i thought i was maybe because i knew i added those....so might be mind trick....so i ask three of my friend come to try and they could tell me what they heard with and without those the difference then i was convince to brought those.....now is on my system not gonna remove those.......then few months later i saw these ifi ac purifier which looks like QV2 so i decided to give it a try see if the effect were the same....but i only heard slight difference when using it so maybe because of using only one?
You might wanna try that, iFi themselves are also saying multiple ones can neutralize noise better, although I wouldn't go further than 3 units as in my experience there is a thing as too much filtering which makes the audio softer. I'm getting three of them this Friday, if i hear an improvement I'll be very happy but if i don't I'll probably end up returning them. It really differs too from person to person, location, noise creating devices in house or out of the house etc.

As always YMMV, it's always good to try some stuff.

Yup, once getting system that you love....is always nice to try on adding new spices on the recipe....nordost is ex but it works very well....i was just finding around seeing if there is a cheaper option with same effect so i could save some penny on my another system

Very interesting. Thank you! I have three iPurifiers and this seems to be a magic number. I need to try the Nordost.

Hi Richter Di

Glad to hear about you having three iPurifiers!

Best wishes

Rather surprised, wasn't expecting much but once I plugged in one in the same lane as my DAC/amp there's this absolute silence, pure darkness compared to some to the very slight grain/noise I am used to and it made details quite a bit more popping and revealing, and it doesn't seem to affect the sound negatively at all. It all sounds like a bit of voodoo but iFi definitely did their research on this one.

Highly recommended, I'm keeping it! :)

That's great to hear. The product itself is active and was designed to the thing you've described yourself.

One of them unfortunately doesn't seem to work correctly, the 2 led's on top keep being red no matter what spot I try or how I turn it, defect?

Please try and swap the one that's red no matter what with other one and let's move from there.

@iFi audio Did you use brighter LEDs (or different plastic) for recently produced units?

I now listen to clean power exclusively. DACs, amps and transducers only add noise, who wants that?

(On a more serious note, I didn't notice an improvement beyond three, and it's already very subtle when using more than one, and more noticeable in my two channel system than my headphone system. I'm gonna use three per system and call it a day for now w.r.t. power conditioners.)

Dear Sir, that looks pretty badass :)

Also, I happened to take a few photos of AC iPurifier with Opus #1s during my Opus #1s review :)

Interesting, for me it was more noticeable on my headphone setup rather than my monitors, I only got 2 working in a big power strip since the other is getting swapped.

Very minor indeed just sounds more “calm” now, they certainly don’t hurt, and the surge protection is a nice thing for a peace of mind.

AC iPurifier 5/5 Star Review from Amazon

"Alright, let's talk snake oil..

Ok, I had to get your attention! Let me just start out by giving IFI Audio the recognition that they truly deserve! The efforts and results that
they put in and get out of their products is outstanding. For those that have not experienced their products you are missing out on an elite company's
products. I am also one that doesn't write too many reviews as well, but I just had to make it known how much I appreciate these guys and girls of IFI Audio. Now that the accolades are done, here is a few things about the AC iPurifier. There is NO snake oil here people. This baby does deliver on different levels. What I mean by that is, it all depends on what and where it is plugged into. Just like their instructions advised. For the ones that feel as though their $20,000 or $50,000 dollar system cannot benefit from some cleanup, you might be misled. I have top notch receptacles and power conditioners, power cables, etc. in my system and every area I tried the AC iPurifier in it made a difference. Some areas better than others, but yet a difference was noticeable. These improvements were obvious ones at that. The one that really shined the brightest was when I placed it on the DAC's receptacle. My power conditioner receptacles are isolated in pairs from each other which, I really wasn't expecting much of an improvement. I was wrong. I won't go into the usual explainations of how it sounds. I will simply say this, the improvements made brought about increase realism in the presentation of the music. Whether it be voices, air and acoustics, or simply more defined lower notes. It was all there! Hats off for another outstanding product!!

Keep up the great work!!
We're listening to you.."
