iFi AC iPurifier - Video Mini Series - The look, the tech, the lowdown. MORE ADDED!

@iFi audio I have AC ipurifier that I bought in US. I'm currently using it in India but it shows reverse polarity but I know for sure that polarity of electrical plugs are correct as I got it tested with electrician.
what needs to be done in such cases? Can I just ignore it?

May be the orientation of Live and Neutral is just opposite in India as compared to US.

Ideally you want to see two green LEDs on your AC iPurifier. If you see green LED on Earth and red on polarity, that's OK in the sense that AC iPurifier's active noise-canncellation circuit will work just as it should and that's the critical thing from the performance perspective. Hope this helps, thanks!

I have bought two of these and might get more in the future. But i am wondering they still will have great effect on insertion on an allready filtered powerstrip? I guess they usally use passive filtering.

Also i recently have bought an furutech ncf clear line. Can ncf and acpurifier teamwork on the same powerstrip with good result and dont cancel each others performens.

Hi, bought two ac purifiers.

Both of them are only on red lights.

I don't have ground in my house but I thought at least 1 light should be green.

Can anyone suggest or is this the right behavior? :)

Well despite being red on both light indicator, AC Purifier really made my system sing.

I was actually a bit disappointed after buying ipower elite for my pro idsd because although it made sound much much more detailed and separated, I noticed a bit added brightness but now with AC Purifier, sound is fuller and smoother while having all those benefit from the ipower elite.

Although I wish my light can be both green, I am currently really happy with what I am hearing :)

Ideally you'd want to see two green LEDs on your AC iPurifiers, so that polarities and ground are in check. AC iPurifier will work with all LEDs red, but less effectively however. Hope this helps, thanks!

Dear all, I’m using a few pcs of supernova power cord. Surprisingly most of them are in Red when being plugged in. But after I turn the device on, they became green! So I don’t care about if the polarity is right or wrong now! Provided they sound as good!
However, may you all believe the nova or supernova would be a best match for plugging to the powerstation? Do they have synergy effect? Thanks

Used this tonight on my system. I was experiencing for the first time a hum in my right channel, then the right channel level dropped to a lower level, then everything sounded a little muffled. I was using a Furman PST-8D power strip which obviously didn't prevent the hum, so I installed one of the AC iPurifiers into the strip. Everything got fixed immediately. No hum, crystal clear level matched channels. Nice! The red and green light are both displaying on the unit.

When power gets celaner, some listeners tend to perceive this as i.e. resolution loss and lesser clarity. But power treatment in general takes the edge off music and it takes a while to get adjusted to it. But then again, your ears should be your only indicators.

Adding to my original post above, I believe the sound from the amp after installing the AC iPurifier into that Furman made everything sound a bit louder and cleaner. Crisper, if you will. Sounded good. I'm very familiar with the sound of my headphones/amp together so I did notice it slightly but didn't really think too much about it at the time.

Could this works for klipsch promedia 2.1 idle noise ?
Thanks for the question.

In theory, anytime you bring cleaner power to any equipment there should be some improvement, audible will be completely subjective and up to your ears.

As always buy from a reputable dealer with a (no question) return policy and judge for yourself!

If it does help your issue please stop back and let us know!

Cheers!!
