Yes they do. They are not generic mmcx but made for Etymotic with the notch key. They fit tight and firm.Do the earphone plugs have the notch to keep them from spinning?

I can't find anyone in the states to make a balanced cable for the ER4XR. In my case I am looking for a 4.4mm termination. It seems nobody has the connectors for them.I'm looking for a balanced cable and the only one I can find is rated a higher impedance than the phones. Is this ok?

I used it with Hiby R3 Pro and with Mojo and the difference is night and day. The tonality with Mojo is probably tad brighter while with darker sounding R3 Pro is perfect , but the pronunciation (technical aspects - separation and clarity) is much better on Mojo and therefore Mojo is worth using it with. So.. they benefit from better source. They would play wonderfully from Hugo2 as far as I can tell, but Mojo is enough I guess. Is R3 Pro that worse? No.. but it misses the exceptional clarity and definirion of each note. It means ER4XR scale well. R3 Pro may be better for muddy recordings and maybe for electronical or heavily distorted music because it makes things sound a bit darker, but for rock, jazz, acoustic stuff Mojo anytime. Can you tell me, would there be a noticeable difference using the from, say, Pixel 2 phone vs FiiO player or better?
I would like to understand if the difference is going to be relatively small or huge (i.e. almost using a different earphone)
So depending on the music style you prefer choose either darker or brighter sounding amp.

I am a new ER2XR user here. The synergy with Pico Slim and DTR1 line out makes it an outstanding setup for me. I haven't used my CA Andromedas since I got these ETYs.
These guys are in China but they will build you anything you want. I wanted a 50cm balanced cable with a 2.5 right angle plug and they made a very nice one. Sounds GREAT.I can't find anyone in the states to make a balanced cable for the ER4XR. In my case I am looking for a 4.4mm termination. It seems nobody has the connectors for them.

Due to their more budget pricing, I would like to try the ER3XR. I have heard their sound signature is very close to the ER4 with a 20 or 23 OHM resistor inline with the ER3. If that is true, does anyone have a link to a recommended resistor to buy? It sounds like fun to be able to have sound sigs of both in one IEM to play with. TIA

Just the resistor and not a complete impedance adapter? My usual go-to choice is Vishay Dale CMF50 series.

Yes, I would need the whole adapter. I'm not clear on what it would look like, I suppose something that has a female 3.5mm on one end to a male 3.5mm on the other end? Hopefully something that is plug and play.

IIRC, Penon Audio should have those.
