Oyaide ultra slim coax balanced cable fits nicely inside the right angled mmcx and secured with silver solder and back caps secured with coloured staking, the cable wasn't particularly expensive but it really sounds terrific and clear.

Turned out very well , if I say so myself.

I don't get a chance to listen to music seriously much these days, but when I do, my XRs are all I need. They really are something special. Best audio (and impulse) purchase I've ever made by far.

I got a couple of requests asking for help to build more ER4 cable, so I guess it is time to reopen the build thread. For those who are interested - like old times, I'll provide my labour for free and you are only going to pay for parts, shipping as well as Paypal fee. This run is mainly for the old ER4 (*your choice of P/S/B configuration), but SR/XR cable is also possible. More detail will be posted once the build thread is up and running sometime next week.

EachDIY is part of Lunashops. They just started to use that brand a few weeks ago.

Again, none of those cable have any resistance, except the one I linked above under the EachDIY brand for ER4S.
Thanks. I've asked the shop what the cost of the 100Ohm ones would be, via express delivery and will see what ER4S sound like.

Appreciate your patience and advice.

I am sensitive to low frequencies, and my dream would be to have a pair of ER4XR matched to a lower frequency than the 100hz that they have now

Just received these - the new SR/XR connector. Different from those (previously) available on Lunashops (which doesn't have the notch / lock), these are molded to fit perfectly into the SR/XR socket and will not spin at all . Here is the close-up picture

This is the Taobao shop I bought mine: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?sp...ab0VCN&id=554917339777&ns=1&abbucket=6#detail
There are probably a few more places selling them if you search around Taobao. If you can't buy directly from Taobao, you might need a buying agent.

Quick q, for the new version do i need to add resistors to the cable? Im sure i read it needs a 45R but more recent comments seem to imply its not needed. I have a few audionote resistors i think 47R which i can use if needed.

Thanks!
