Today I find out that Schiit is continuing to put down DSD and even said on Head-FI, "I went against my better judgment and produced the Loki DSD decoder."  Gee, they certainly talk too much.
Today my Network stereo receiver Ethernet port became nonfunctional during a BIOS upgrade on my main system. I had to rebuild my network stack and re-enter all the configs to get the Ethernet ports working again.
During this process I decided to listen to a internet Radio data stream(m3u) using an Vtuner application which in turn J.River converts the data stream to 2xDSD to my Nano iDSD and I never heard Internet Radio sounded so good before.

I wouldnt get to uptight about what those guys say. I think the sound of their equipment speaks for itself.

I placed my order with Avatar last week and I was among the "Octa-Adapters". I hope you can still be one of the first 512 world-wide to enjoy this status.

They are asking for the entire amount up front, and they offered me free shipping if I liked them on Facebook. (I didn't, as some of us dinosaurs still don't do Facebook.....) The shipping ended up costing me like $8 and change to Michigan.

Best of luck to you.

The fun part for me will be comparing notes with folks who start receiving and using their Micro iDSD's.

My iDSD Nano blows away almost everything that I've ever heard of any size and at any price, so expectations for a unit costing over 2-½ times as much are very high. Yet somehow I feel confident that I will be impressed......
