What's a good headphone to bring to college?

Here are some of my opinions and criteria on what a college headphone should...

Not leak sound out
Some isolation (not incredibly important)
Versatile
Durable
Can double as a portable headphone when needed.
Some kind of folding/compressing mechanic

Opinions?

I think budget-wise I can go up to $185 (same price as Beats) but I'd also like suggestions for a cheap budget-y one in case I decide not to take a more expensive headphone.

Newer stuff I listen are those acousic/indie type bands and alternative hip hop.

I also listen to a lot of music that people would consider classic these days (Who, U2, Pink Floyd, Smiths etc.,)

I've heard many good things about the m50, which fits your criteria

The hd25 is light weight(surprisingly light), ultra durable, very isolating.

easy user replacable cable (you'll eventually snag the cable on something in college either that or you loan it to a friernd and they snag it on a zipper or something)

spending extra on the hd25 rather than the m50 is better in the long run

Isolation is very important at college, particularly the dorm.

Doesn't the HD25 put a lot of pressure on the ears? Probably not too comfortable long-term. I'd say M50.
