Mine is on the way as a reviewers sample.  But, the review will be posted first elsewhere, after X amount of time it will be copied here on Head Fi.  Very curious to find out how this compares with the Studio V and the X3.  Seems like it would fit nicely ontop of my Alo International when they are strapped together.

I have the x3 and like it a lot but I'm really interested in this as well. cant wait for some comparisons. I will getting this as soon as I sell my Cowon d3, if anyone has interest.

I choose the iBasso DX50 but I really like the DX100.
No more Phone + Amp Combo.
Might buy that DX100 Xmas gift to myself.

Yeah, you should. The DX100 drives almost everything, except stuff like the HE-6. It was very nice even with the hard to drive HD800.

And how do thay prove that claim of 2TB?
It's still dificult to get a 64gb card...
By the time you can get that kind of cards we all have players built into our heads....
 
A bogus claim in my book or I must be missing something like it has an extra 31 hidden card slots....
It's just like the claim of support to up to 24/192 and when you get the device you find out it only supports that on WAV (like Colorfly) and the rest is supported till 16/44.1 or less.
16/44.1 is more than enough for a portable player but don't mislead your customers.

No, not really, I have at least four. Easily found on Amazon.
 
And I would think that it is only a matter of time before cards come out that are over 64gb. Although I do have to agree that it's rather early to be claiming support for those cards.

You can also find 256gb on Amazon for $500.
The lies kill your brand name and can we believe the Spec. on the DX100 are true.

Those are full size SDXC, not microsdxc like the DX50 and X3 take.

The limit for the cards is 2TB. If available you have that much storage, no lie there. 
 
The DX100 supports up to and including 24/192 on various formats so iBasso knows what support means and I am sure the DX50 will do the same.

You can use those with a card reader that will work with the USB of the DX50. The USB opens up many storage possibilities.
