Check out the night light mode, it works wonders for eye strain.

It does work, yes. Puzzling!!! that a device with a wifi connection needs me to tell it when the day ends and the night begins.Check out the night light mode, it works wonders for eye strain.
Not to mention that Qobuz's dark theme cannot be enabled on the DX300. I know these findings may sound like nitpicking but having Android as the underlying OS does open up many possiblities and it is a shame when those are not utilised.
Dark mode is greyed outI’m using dark theme in Qobuz no problem. It’s strange it does not enable on yours
At any rate, it will surely be less of a pain to look at when overall brightness was set too highI think a dark theme would only save battery life if the display was OLED, it is "LTPS IPS"
I don't know if it's the cable properties (doubt it) or the combined impedances magically locking into place but holy **** did this Dita Oslo add a layer of magic to my dx300 + qdc Gemini combo.
How well are the A2C driven from the DX300? I have the A2C and I'm curious about it for the future when we're more mobile again. My portable full size setup
@Paul - iBasso did you happen to see this? There were a number of likes from fellow DX300 enthusiasts. is this something iBasso can look into? To my knowledge AK DAPs are running a heavily customized OS based on Android. They were able to add the necessary services/software to make the SP1000/SP2000 players bit-perfect Roon endpoints. I guarantee you Roon users will be thrilled if iBasso can do something similar w/ the DX300 (and future players).@Paul - iBasso any chance iBasso can pull something like this off? In my opinion, it would be a game changer and put iBasso (and more specifically the DX300) way ahead of the competition. While what they've done is great, A&K has somewhat missed the mark. I'll explain below.
If iBasso could make the DX300 a Roon Endpoint (similar to what A&K just announced) users could use the Roon Remote app for full control functionality and send streams to the bit-perfect Roon Endpoint. With the screen, performance, etc. provided with the DX300 this would be the absolute best solution for a complete portable (around the house anyway) Roon solution.
- Roon doesn't play nice on Android. This is well known. Even on TOTL Android based DAPs w/ high end DAC(s) it relies on the Android audio libraries and as a result tracks are almost always upsampled/downsampled when playing via the Roon Remote app.
- A&K decided to make the SP1000/SP2000 a roon endpoint which corrects this issue and allows for bit-perfect playback BUT aside from providing basic album art and play/pause/next/back controls on the DAP itself you need a PC, Smartphone or Tablet to control most if Roon's functions.

So far so good. About 5 hrs in to it and the staging is above average from what I am used to. Sounds like the mids are a little more forward than usual. How does it sound with your legend x?
