Oh man, sometimes things can be so easy . You made my day. Thank you for this hint. You need to enable it in the setting , display
But you are right it´s not the same as with an iPhone, but better than nothing.

Hello everybody.
I have noticed yesterday while I am disconecting a 4.4mm cable from the dx300 that something inside are moving.
Then, I shake up a little bit the dap with my hands and I could feel and hear a something moving inside. The amp is solid in its site, then maybe is the battery is detached. Someone else experiment the same issue in dx300? Maybe is normal or what?

I’m actually enjoying the TPU case’s ability to bring out the natural beauty of this player. I feel the stock case kind of mutes it, for many reasons. Thanks again. I also ordered this one
Yup, happened to the first one I purchased, and I think there was one other person on here that had the same issue. Sounds like a loose screw or something? I had to return mine
My loose item was up too far to be coming from the amp....

No, that isn’t normal. Nothing should be moving inside. I advise to contact your dealer and tell them about the issuesHello everybody.

Like I said, you are going to have to replace the unit. It seems to be a factory defect on some unlucky units.
Does the DX300 have the ability to send music over wi-fi? Like transferring songs from my laptop to the ibasso when they're both on wi-fi? Instead of having to hookup with a cable every time....

Then now you have a new unit without that issue?Yup, happened to the first one I purchased, and I think there was one other person on here that had the same issue. Sounds like a loose screw or something? I had to return mine
Yes, no issue, new unit

With the LNY break finishing up, I want to bring back to the attention of @Paul - iBasso some of my earlier Qs and some new ones
LO/PO
Different Apps audio quality
LO/PO
- There remains some confusion surrounding the LO/PO, gain settings and volume control.
- LO is supposed to be real line out bypassing amp section, but Gain setting influences LO level. Please explain the signal chain.
- Where is the digital volume in the audio chain?
- Since gain setting influences LO level, do you have Max voltage levels for the different outputs 3.5/4.4 for diff gain settings. This is important to know when hooking up to external amps.
Different Apps audio quality
- With regards to using different 3rd part apps that claim ”bit perfect” playback, some very minor subjective differences have been raised by forum goers. For example differences have been ”heard” between Mango app, Uapp and Fiio music app. The reason behind these differences confuses me, as bit perfect audio data arriving at the final dac stages should all sound the same, no? Please educate us.
- Without giving too much company secrets away, can you help to understand what factors / mechanisms / signal processing (up/down sampling, requantization 16/24 to 32/32 float) actually are used by media player apps to ”develop the signal flow” from file to DAc input.
- Finally, is there any difference in how the dx300 FPGA processing features are used in signal preparation before the final DAC stages when 3rd party non-iBasso apps are used as audio player app as opposed to the Mango OS app.

My very happy sweetspot(s) nowadays are Android OS, Fiio app, Gain M, filter 3 (or 2 if too hash highs/transients in the music).
Not quite the surgical scalpel that is the dx228. But with these settings the dx300 sounds very very good indeed.
