i think tactical pants or clothes might work for carrying the DX300, especially if they are designed with magazine pockets. although snug my DX312 with the silicone sleeve fits.
I always have my DX312 with the silicone case in my pocket. Never had any problem. Whether in trousers or jeans. But only in shorts. It's always hot here and I prefer to wear shorts. But that shouldn't have any effect, the trouser pockets are the same size.
UAPP has not fixed the problem with the MQAs. Only a small improvement has been achieved.
UAPP still doesn't detect that DX300 is a MQA decoder and only does 1 level of software unfold, so MQAs play at 88.2 kHz. They should be played at 384 kHz, just like Mango or the official Tidal app does.
I think it was in this same thread where @Paul - iBasso said that they had already seen what the problem was together with the creator of UAPP, and that it was going to require an update of the DX300's own operating system, which they expected to have it in 1 month or so. I hope they do, since for me UAPP is the best music player app

hmm.. since DX200 or DX220, UAPP only can do 2x.. which is Ok lah for me... since I am not a MQA believer...
For me, this 2x fold alrd the default from the beginning.. if iBasso/UAPP manage to do more, it will great...
but try to make peace first IMO, and enjoy the music...
for me, Morphlt in UAPP is useful... so that's why I used UAPP at DX300..
edit : and also when you stack DX300, the perfect bit really helps to make better staging, pair to external AMP via LO 4.4 TRRS... IMO
I have wiped and setup my DX300 again and now i am unable to see beta apps in PlayStore while my phone with the same account sees them.
