Nice. I will use this on the go, and the MAX will be dedicated as desktop device replacing my Chord Hugo 2/2Go.

Happy holiday everyone!

A hurricane is hitting Maine today - better to stay home and do some DX300 information update.:smirk:

MSRP $1199. Final price could vary depending on VAT.

The translation is done! Now let me start with the 1st pic:

The brand new flagship from iBasso, DX300 High-res player. Highlighting dual control systems and dual power supplies.

2nd pic: In-house developed FPGA-Master Technology. The main control system dedicated to audio processing.

In DX300, we implement the in-house developed FPGA-Master technology for the first time. FPGA-Master is used as the audio main control system to directly request audio data from SoC, serving the functions of data reprocessing and keeping the signal stable; meanwhile, it reconciles all the audio clocks, with the help of two Accusilcon femtosecond crystal, and makes sure that all the functions of the device share the same clock. This helps to lower the jitter as much as possible and builds a clean digital audio system.

3rd pic: 14-nano 8 core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processer, the star of the player's SoC.

DX300 comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 processer as the SoC. With its insane capability from 14-nano 8 core, no SoC in any other HiFi players can beat it! It has 6G of Ram, enabling a smooth user experience; it comes with 128G ROM internal storage, allowing you to download more APPs and music.

4th pic: Patented dual battery supplies architecture. The digital part of the player and the amp part have two separate, independent power supplies.

The power supply is the most important component in a DAP, and it is the decisive factor for sound quality. SOC, DAC, AMP, among many others, all have strict requirements for the power supply quality. When only one power supply is in place, it will carry too much load, causing the potential cross-interferences between digital and analog systems. This will create extra noise and deteriorate sound quality. DX300 utilizes patented dual power supplies architecture. The AMP part and the digital part of the DAP are separately fed with independent power suppliers.

5th pic: 4 CS43198 QFC fully-balanced DAC design

DX300 implemented 4 Cirrus Logic's flagship DAC chips - CS43198 QFC - to form the DAC matrix, creating a total of 8 DAC channels and a fully-balanced design. With 4 chips working in parallel, it reduces the possibility of deterioration from a single DAC due to its random instability. Therefore, it significantly improves the sound quality for the density and clarity of the sound.

6th pic: Interchangeable AMP module.

To fully utilize DX300's potential, we implement an interchangeable AMP modular design, enabling more possibilities. Just imagine this, you will have the flexibility to switch from the analytical sound of Op Amps to the warm sound from transistors without having to change the DAP itself - simply change the AMP modules! The modules will be announced subsequently in the future. We hope that each module will be unique, serving complementary purposes.

7th pic: The powerful standard modular AMP11.

The standard AMP modular AMP11 is based on AMP8 and comes with three outputs: 2.5mm, 3.5mm, and 4.4mm. Power supply +/- 8V, enabling a constant energy supply for the AMP portion. The transistor has a max power supply of 2.7 A, enabling peak signal processing. DX300 has a max level output of 7.1Vrms, and because it benefits from the independent power supply, it outputs 1240 mW at 32 Ω.

8th pic: 6.5 inches, 2340*1180 full screen.

DX300 implements a 6.5 inches full-screen design with very slim bezels. The resolution is a stunning 2340*1080. There is an indicator light on the top of the screen to show the working condition of the DAP. We care about every single detail of the device.

9th pic: 5th gen Mango OS + Andriod 9.0 dual system - a treat in both audio experience and user interface.

DX300 has its own Linux-based audio dedicated system - the 5th gen Mango OS. With the help of Qualcomm 660 GPU, it functions as smoothly as Andriod systems. DX300 also has the Andriod 9.0 system, one of the best OS in any major DAPs.It allows you to install any streaming services APKs.

10th pic: Bluetooth 5.0 + 5G WiFi 2x2 MIMO

DX300 has upgraded internal antennas. The 5G WiFi implements the 2x2 MIMO antennas, with 2 input and 2 output channels, enabling a massive update in signal transmission speed and volume. The DX300 also supports Bluetooth 5.0.

11th pic: Outstanding AP measurements.

In core metrics, the DX300 is also outstanding. It has a signal-to-noise ratio of 125db, dynamic range -125dB, THD+N -113db. Its balanced PO has a max level output of 7.1Vrms, and it outputs 1240 mW at 32 Ω (measured with load).

12th pic: A fully evolved DAP

DX300 has 15 hours of battery life and supports QC3.0, PD2.0 fast charging. It fully charges itself in 2.5 hours. It can function as a DSB DAC. It has Coaxial output, supporting PCM 384kHz, DoP DSD 128 COAX output. It has a high-speed Type-c (USB 3.1) connection.

13th pic: Some other specs (I only list some specs that have not yet been mentioned above)

Color: blue and black
Body frame: aluminum alloy
Weight: 300g
Size: 162mm*77mm*17mm
External SD card slot

The box contains the DAP, AMP11, Type-C cable, Coaxial cable, a cable for burn-in, a leather case, screen protectors, a warranty card, and a quick-start manual.

A bonus 14th pic:

So i weights 300g? Not bad for its size. At least i will not need wolfram belt and carbon pockets
The max weights the way it is due to the stainless steel chassis :). It would be so light if the chassis were aluminum. The Dx300 should also be very light with aluminum. The question is, will we have copper ? Titanium ? Unobtainium soon ?

we might have DX300Ti, DX300S, DX300X, DX300 Pro, DX300 Saber Edition, DX300-EX and much more in the future~ :L3000:
For the LED status indicator, it will be much more fun if iBasso provides us how to edit code to make it becomes rainbow color when swapping AMP card. lol
