MQA support has not yet been in place

Will it be MQA rendered at 16x or 8x? I finally understand what this means. So say you have mqa 24/48 it can be rendered at 16x which equals 768. Therefore if the dap chip is limited at 384 that’s 8x the rendering of 24/48. Is this just for MQA or can the dap play files lossless at 768 or is it capped at 32/384?

so the amp modules are purely amp changes? quaddac meme stays the same? i know that on my cayin n6ii the module changes the dac too, so wondering. quad cirrus + tubeamp would be an odd but cool combo to try

Some funny related info. Hiby R8 was filed as a phone when it was preparing for its launch in mainland China. Hiby later took out the voice call and some other related features in the actual launch.

About the MQA things, the DAP can be capable at 768Khz and the unfolding can be capped at 384Khz or 8X and not 16X. There are 2 ways to Unfold MQA as I mentioned previously
1/ Software related, it is using software codes to utilize FPGA or CPU to upsampling. The software need updates frequently to include newest DSP algorithms.
2/ Hardware codes, there is only one DAC IC that is totally capable of MQA, and it is Sabres, and by far it is only 8X as I have seen

So, for Dx300, it is #1, and the CPU is capable of 768Khz. The CL is capable of 384 only. Don’t know if Ibasso can do something with 4x Chips. But I think 8X is what the dx300 can safely be assumed
