Excuse my ignorance but aren’t fast chargers a pretty common household item nowadays? Regardless, you can get a good one for $20 USD if not cheaper.

I would do a factory reset and QC charges are very common with most devices now using them. It said in the specs that it used the quick chargers and gives the specifications for the ones to use.

Seriously, Anker QC3.0 charger is about $15 on amazon and a good "investment" considering you can use it with all of your portable electronic devices. But to return top of the line DAP because it doesn't come with a charger, hmm...

DX300 around 100 hours - C9 out of the box is a definite improvement... So glad the stack is all here now!

My C9 arrives on Monday. Counting the minutes!

I am not surprised that R8 has a little recessed in Mid, especially vocal, because that is the AKM traits . The Dx300 on the other hands are using CL and it has both good traits from AKM and ESS. Moreover, we have the modular amps that open up future possibilities

I’m still leaning towards the R8 as a preference but I may still be in that burn-in period on the DX300, that people have talked about where it loses it a bit.

Mine went through some real ups and downs and then stabilized for a while ok sound but nothing great and now I love it. But I am at over 350 hours. This is in comparison to the Max, which I consider the best player there is. It is enough different from the Max that they complement each other and the 300 is an excellent true portable dap.

If that is your only concern, I would rather get a good charger and keep it. More and more devices are needing this kind of a charger and more and more devices are being delivered without one. It might only save you time for your next device.

Shouldn't take forever to turn on, either. Mine boots up faster than any DAP I've ever had.

If you would buy it in Germany it is €2200. Here, it is GBP1500. The owner of the shop is in the forums and he told me that for EU the VAT will be deducted from the final price, so you have to pay the import tax and German VAT on top minus the GB VAT- still more than €400 cheaper than EU price. But of course I don't know what happens if you need to return.

2. Then open unzipped - copy the

DX330_full_ota 1.02.204

3. on a memory card ... in the dx300.

4. Updater - at the top right dir 3 points and local update - start.

C9 is in low supply almost everywhere right now. Cayin was not able to produce a lot of them before CNY. The supply will come back in mid/late March, and perhaps then you can see some sale.
