Gain settings - you prefer to use high rather than medium?

(And you prefer to use medium instead of low)?

Yes. High for Utopia and medium for my Obravo Ra 21 C

Photos of the case not fitting the DAP too well and being rather loose, rather than snug. I fully expect that ibasso will be providing free of charge swaps/replacements!

The tempered glass screen protector is also not a perfect fit. See the alignment up top near the status indicator (it is already too much to the left.

Having a symmetrical alignment would have required an even bigger gap (on the right hand side of the status indicator)

I agree. The case is not fit for purpose considering the price point of the DAP. iBasso should look into this and replace these cases due to the poor fit.

2 issues I am experiencing with my case from new are as follows

1. The buttons on the side do not work due to the case not lining up correctly with the DAP.
2. The DAP has the ability to drop out of the top of the case when handled which in turn could damage the DAP.

Considering the DAP costs in excess of £1000 GBP, I would have expected a case that actually fits the DAP along with protection for the DAP.

Another thing to add, is the side of the case rubs on the volume knob as you turn it. It feels funny to turn the knob when so, like there is gravel stuck in the case, but it is just friction with the leather.

UAPP 5.9.1 is out on the Play Store :)

Still cannot detect Hi-Res DAC to play....
BTW, is it compulsory to buy "MQA playback" in UAPP for Tidal? I think it's for MQA first layer("core decoder"), and maybe I don't need this if DX300 is already capable of full decoding with its DAC?

thx

EDIT: UAPP 5.9.1 actually works, I just had a wrong setting. However, it still cannot play DSD.
