I can wait longer (it's not a problem for me), but that extra time needs to be appropriately used by iBasso. I mean that DX300 should work smoothly, shouldn't get as hot as DX220 and have less bugs than Cyberpunk 2077. Oh, and charging when acting as USB-DAC would be nice.

Also there are way bigger fish in the electronics space that need DACs and that makes most of them a higher priority to AKM because of scale.

This is not a dig at iBasso btw. It's just that if e.g. Sony needed millions of chips for PS5s and other electronic equipment then AKM will likely supply these bigger customers first.

That is only true if Ibasso made purchases after the incident. We have seen The Dx300 leaks for a couple months now, and as someone mentioned, at this stage of development, the parts must have been purchased many months back. Take Shanling M8 for example, it is recently released, and using AK4499EQ. They can not just buy on demands right ?
