Woa! Imagines slapping it in one‘s face! I like the screen and the size though, actually pretty good size to watch movies with, like Prime and Netflix, Hulu stuff. Now, I want to see it next to an iPhone or galaxy phones lol

OK, so DX300 is here! DHL delivered it a day early. Not gonna talk about the sound, let it cook for 4-5 days first. Just wanted to mention a few things about the performance.

First of all, you won't find Google Play Store pre-installed. Don't panic. APKPure is pre-installed, so just search and download Google Play Store and within a minute you are up and running. Got Amazon Music HD, Qobuz, Netflix (4.16.13 build 15172), AnTuTu 3D (that one downloaded directly from their site) and some other utils like Speedtest and Wifi Analyzer running without a problem.

New updated Mango app is preinstalled, of course. Great to have NOS (no over sampling filter) and "now playing" list (click on 3-dot to open it in lower right corner of album art window)

Yes, DX300 is big, the size of a phablet with a performance of a smartphone. No more complaining about its Android performance. AnTuTu 3D Benchmark score is within 4% of Hiby R8 that was considered to be a previous champ, but now it will have to share a crown with DX300:

Wifi performance is excellent, look at my Galaxy phone vs DX300 (you can see which one is which by looking at Notification bar, DX300 will have 2 battery indicators):

and Download/Upload speed are nearly identical:

So far so good! Let burn in continues before I can share sound impressions.

When someone gets a chance, please see how playlists are handled. Does it tend to flip the first two tracks on an imported or on-board-built playlist (like one that is exported from Mango Android and imported with the Mango OS) like my DX220? Inquiring minds would like to know.
Also interested in that long play time...and...a noise floor comparison with the Hiby R8.
Cheers and Thanks! :beerchug:

Very interesting choice to go with the quad CS43198. I wonder if that means we should expect a device that lacks resolution vs TOTL players but is exceptionally smooth?

I'll trust what I hear with no assumptions, getting it friday and from what Paul said needs some burn in to sound its best so I'll go through that... but spec wise it's no less TOTL than 9028 Pro or AK4499 in terms of SNR and dynamic range and noise floor are very very low, in fact it's above the R8 ant its AK4497 from a pure spec point of view. I'll compare with the M8 and its AK4499. But specs and DACs are only part of the story of course :)
