Hello, I have a question: having balanced cable with 2.5 mm termination. Which 4.4 mm adapter would you recommend? I think I prefer L- shaped or eventually wired one. Does the company matter or I just can purchase any decent one to keep the sound quality untuched? Thank you in advance.

Yeah but it isnt very practical for me because its straight and my 2.5 termination is also stright. But thank you!

Amp12 and MDR-EX1000!!!!

PO into C9 is something to cherish, the bass and the dynamic is so satisfying together with the imagings that is breathes taking. It is addictive, yet a proven point that the Dx300 as an all in one DAP has a tremendous potentials with modular amplifiers.

Mostly doesn't matter as they generally don't add much impedance. But if it is a matter of which are made to be tighter with less loose fit. I've had great luck using DDHifi adapters.

I can not recommend those DJ44AG. It did not take long before the fit got too loose and my 2.5mm trrs cable is not making a good contact.
Maybe i just got some bad luck or both of my 2.5mm connectors are not up to standards or something but thought i should mention it.

I use the DJ44AG since around a year now and never had any problems with the 4,4mm or 2,5mm connection and it is used nearly daily.
No problem with with the cheapo Tripowin C8, the standard ThieAudio EST or my current Penon OSG cable.

I would also prefer something like CA04. Stacking such hard pieces together feels a bit fragile to me, also might potentionally strain the port easier.

Agreed, but with AK moving toward 4.4mm as well. It makes no senses to go with 2.5mm and any adapter from now on

Except, unless you are sticking with SP2K for a couple more years

Hi there, I have now burned in both Sides of amp12 for each 110 hours so total 220 hours with different methods/impedances and terminations including burnin dongle IEM's and (poor man's) BA300s.
I will use both Sides, so do they need the same time cookin' or respectively more or less for full Potential? Any suggestione?

I have read thru this forum and it is unclear to me about the DX300's ability to play dsf files? Can anyone tell me if it can play them, and if it plays them how good a job does it do of gapless play?
