What kind of battery life does the 3MAX SS deliver?
Sample, I’ve experienced 11 hours (A29%, D21%) during burn in with Android mode, analog + digital volume at 100, Ultimate mode OFF, no Wi-Fi/location svcs, playing mix of DSD256-512, FLAC 16/44 & 24/352.

With Ultimate mode ON, 6-8 hours in Android and 8+ hours in MangoOS.

That is not bad.
I mostly listen in 2.5-3 hours blocks of time while reading or working. Turning off Ultimate mode will definitely increase play time. I’ll spend more time streaming and report back.

I primarily use the DX312 for on the go and at work. But once home, it’s MAX time LOL.

In reading through here some folks have reported the issue of the DX300 not be able to connect to any Wi-Fi that uses the WPA3 security profile.
This issue is likely to be exacerbated with the new iPhone and iOS15 whose Personal Hotspot only supports WPA3 (which can’t be switched off or to WPA2). Meaning the DX300 can’t currently be connected to a newer iPhone via Hotspot.
@Paul - iBasso - will this be fixed or updated anytime soon?

After a while with my amp 12 it has just reached a new level. It's like one random day it just changed for the better. It was already a big improvement to me over the amp 11 mk2. Now that the amp 12 has had some burn in time it is unbelievably good. I am very happy with the amp 12. I can't wait to see what other amp modules Ibasso comes out with in the future.

I'm just waiting on an iPhone to arrive so that's a concern! I use my current phone as a hotspot for my DX300 all the time.

This appears to be true. iPhone 13 Pro, with iOS 15.0. DX300 correctly sees it's security as SAE, and saves the SSID profile, but it refuses to connect to it. Shows no errors. I even tried removing all other SSIDs but it still wouldn't connect and showed no errors. I also tried turning on "Maximize Compatibility" in iOS' hotspot settings, but it still had the same issue.

My current version is 1.03.241. when I go to updater and try it still says I have the current version. What's the deal with that?

Download the update from the link posted, unpack it and then follow these instructions:

Instructions For Firmware update:

1. Copy and paste the DX300_full_ota_1.04.305.zip to your SD card's root folder, or the DX300's internal memory.
2. Go to Android OS, press Settings-->System-->Updater-->local update, and tap the zip file.
3. The whole update will take about 10 minutes. Reboot the DX300 after update completed. You can also choose to do a factory reset at this time to clear any artifacts from the previous firmware.
