Does anyone have an issue with their DX300 where when they try to connect to wifi, it doesn't actually connect but just says saved? On the right side of the wifi name there is a lock with a + sign on it, so not sure what that means. I know my password I put in is correct and every other device that I have connects to my wifi just fine.

Maybe try to "Forget" and then restart the dx300 and log in again.

This was how it acted when I tired to connect to my iPhone 13's hotspot with WPA3, which I believe is also what that little + means. A few pages back this was being discussed. Sounds like the current software doesn't work with WPA3. Try turning your router's Wi-Fi security to WPA2.

I brought this up the other day on here. (https://www.head-fi.org/threads/iba...rmware-09-29-21-1-04-305.943221/post-16587124).
It's because the DX300 cannot connect to wifi with the WPA3 security. Unfortunately all iPhones with ios15 use the WPA3 for their hotspot therefore the DX300 will not be able to connect to any newer iPhones with iOS15.

This wasn't addressed in the newest firmware. Perhaps @Paul - iBasso might be kind enough to give us an update and let us know if iBasso is working on this.

Should be, I remember seeing bug reports thread for dx300. May want to post there instead ?

I thought it was me. I spent so long trying to find a workaround. Glad you confirmed this bug.

Yeah unfortunately it doesn't work.

Ah my bad, I didn't know this was the same issue. What's weird is I can connect my iPhone hotspot with IOS15 with the DX300. However, I did connect to it before when it was IOS14 so that be why my DX300 still connect to my phone. Glad to know it's not just me.

Does this new version incorporate the necessary fixes to make UAPP 100% compatible?
Or will that come out later?
I am still using previous OS..
just update the UAPP via Google Playstore..

hmm.. now I am thinking should I update.. hahahha

You should be able to download it if you right click on it and do it in another window.
Well, the IP was block in my office..

Works fine when I am at home....

I have the last UAPP beta version, updated yesterday. And it doesn’t support the DX300 as MQA renderer or decoder. MQA is made through software and only one level of unfold.
@Paul - iBasso said some weeks ago an update of the OS was needed to give a solution for this problem.

+1 for bal nano tube.
That would be great! I'm just ready for a new amp module period. I have had the amp 12 for a couple of months and it is just great! About a week ago it hit a new level after being burnt in. I was surprised at the difference between amp 11 mk2 and amp 12. I wasn't expecting to hear such a big change but it was obvious to me from the get go . This is my 1st dap and 1st dap with interchangeable amp modules and I love it. I really dig being able to have different sound signatures by changing the amp module.I've definitely put it to use and can't wait for more.
